I had a microwave in my room (no other device to heat water) and while I tried to use it, fuse went down.

It had a unique feel to it, and I loved it. The room and bed was spacious, everything was clean, and I had a great wardrobe. There was no issue with hot water in the bathroom and the tub allowed me to soak my bones after an extremely difficult day.

The place was clean and the room was quite big, and there is coffee in the kitchen in the morning. Different buss stations, restaurants and bars around. China Town and Union Square was like 5 minutes walk from here.

The elevator has been out of work for 4 days, and a friend of mine needed to go up and down by stairs to the 6th floor, he is 69 years old.

I was a bit concerned since the property is unmanned, this meaning that there is no proper reception. However, I must say that my stay was pleasant with no drawbacks at all. There is a remote assistance service which is active 24/24, promptly responding to any questions, and the self check-in is really easy going. The property is located in a very nice part of the city, just a few minutes on feet from Union Square. Last but not least, the Wi-Fi works pretty well and I could even handle some videoconferences without any discontinuities or other issues. Overall, I would say definitely good for the price.

The only negatives if I needed to name some is that the door to our room had a rather larger gap to the coridoor which mean that privacy was an issue and noise coming from the coridoor. Furthermore the sink in the bathroom was tiny which made it difficult even to just brush your teeth let alone when you are traveling as a couple getting ready in the morning.

The check-in was super easy. The hotel is located in a fantastic area and we felt safe during our stay. The kitchen and laundry was great with everything that you need for your stay.

Bed slats were popped out when we arrived. We put them back in but they popped out very very easily even with no bed movement and a small body on the bed. If I was staying longer than 3 nights or if there was a physical staff member managing this accomodation, I would have requested a room change. No air con, no view from room, loud at night (ear buds provided)

Great shared kitchen downstairs. On-site washing and drying available for $2.50USD to wash and $1USD to dry clothes, very handy. Room, bed, bathroom were clean.

The location of the hotel was very central. quick access to the hotel was simple and all the instructions were provided very clearly by email.

I asked them to add my husbands number and take mine away for communication as I would not be using my local number overseas, after two confirmations, I was getting messages on my number for everything.

The location was great, check in was easy, instructions posted were easy to follow and reply’s to any questions were prompt.

the location is in proximity to a "not so good" neighbourhood for the presence of homeless and (sometimes) gergale. Actually, this is a problem of a lot of downtown hotels... Kasa is in a relative safety place up to my stay but it seams a situation in development so I cannot rate the location with certainties. I feel safe as a couple, maybe a solo female traveller or families may find themselves in uncomfortable situations

We asked for an early check-in to be allowed to start our reservation two hours earlier. We were told we would be informed of the early check-in availability exactly when we requested an early check-in. Because it takes us about an hour to get to the hotel from where we are, we could not take advantage of the check-in.

Very noisy - rubbish lorries every morning at 5.30am and although centrally located it was close to the Tenderloin area where a large community of homeless people live and on one occasion there was a lot of shouting outside our windows in the night from some troubled people. Zero human interaction - no reception, everything virtual.

Well we did notice that there was someone’s sock behind the tv we were unpacking and settling in when we noticed it. It didn’t reassure me that the place was entirely cleaned right.

The property was lovely. It was real cozy and comfortable! The elevator was a great experience.

Pillows were a little too fluffy, no window screens, corner carpet lifted caused tripping constantly, need more light or better light in bathroom
