The room temperature is hard to control and the water in the shower took a long time to get hot enough for a shower.

The property is historic and has beautiful art throughout. There are so many spaces in which to sit and relax. Different flavored water is served in the lobby daily. The staff is amazing! The location is perfect for walking the historic district.

Without ceiling lights the rooms are dark. They seemed to be having some problems with the plumbing. We stayed four nights, and on one occasion the shower had only hot water.

The Queen studio room was a bit smaller than I thought it would be.

I am a hot sleeper and the mattress was not for me personally. But that is expected from me!

Had a great stay! Would stay again for sure. It was a perfect and beautiful room! Bathroom was large and spacious with two sinks. Loved our entire stay. It was romantic and practical. The location is perfect and so easy to walk anywhere. The included valet was so easy and never get rid of it! Great valet and bar staff. They deserve all the praise for the hard work. The grounds are gorgeous.

Stayed here 15 years ago and it looks like not much has been updated since then. The first room we were given had an air conditioner on the floor with a vent going outside and open window. It was next to an alleyway with intermittent car/truck noise. Hard to believe they would even offer this room at the exorbitant price we were paying. The second room had a raised stone fireplace hearth directly outside the door of an extremely small bathroom. The bathroom had a shower/tub combination which we would not have been able to comfortably use. Just getting into this bathroom without tripping on the raised stone hearth would have been an issue especially at night. The third room offered was bigger, had a good sized bathroom with a walk-in shower and a better location. This room was a much better reflection of the price we paid.

For the price, it could use a little maintenance. However, it is a historical hotel so some of the ambience is based in its history.

everyone was very friendly and accommodating and the beds were VERY comfortable. The room size was great also and it was very convenient to downtown Santa Fe so you could park and walk. Parking was free and we were given coupons for free drinks when we checked in. There’s plenty of street parking but we parked it so nothing would happen to the rental car at night.

The water pressure was a low and the tub floor was slippery during showers. A bath mat would have been great.

We loved the self enclosed nature of the property which allowed you some privacy. We love the porch with the room so you could enjoy the outdoors and property. We loved the friendliness of the staff and how they interacted with us.

The only thing was the carpet in my room. Too many stains and it smelled very musty.

The adobe style and how beautiful the grounds were landscaped. I also loved all of the paintings in the main part of the resort.
