The short lady in the front desk was not very welcoming. Like attitude/ frustration. This was the only issue I had. Everything else was fine.

Laredo is a very sad down at the heels town but once within the hotel grounds, you forget about the surrounding ugliness.

Beautiful colonial hotel right on the Rio Grande between the two main bridges to cross the border into Mexico. Two lovely pools, 2 nice restaurants and a bar. Rooms were very spacious and well equipped and clean. Excellent value for the price. One caveat, the surrounding area is quite sad and not safe at night. Many, many boarded up stores, however during the day there is a large safe outlet mall within walking distance. I would say, without a doubt, that it is the best hotel in Laredo.

The inside of the property could use new carpet. It had a bit of a humid smell not too strong kinda fades after a few nights. Thats really it.

It was nice, pool was good and very convenient to cross over to Nuevo Laredo. Room was spacious and ac was great.

Lobby was very hot and smelled a little. The A/C in our room wasn’t the best towards the end of our trip. It was great in other family members rooms though so it could have just been our room.

The Pool/outdoor area was amazing! How close it was to the border was also a plus for us. Nighttime’s views were great!

After a long drive from Lake Chapala, Mexico, the La Posada hotel is a welcome stop. The location can't be beat. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Everything is clean and welcoming. One especially nice thing is the underground, guarded parking garage. I know my car will be secure.

Had to pay for parking was not told about that it was $5. And they held $30 additional to price of room and parking but received it back after stay so it should be advised ahead of time.

The view was pretty as far as pool and atmosphere. The parking attendants were so kind.

$5 fee + tax for parking (or $10 if using valet parking). The water out of the faucet is undrinkable as it had a very bad taste and odor. There was two bottles of drinkable water by the coffee maker in the room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing directions to other places nearby.

My griefs are out of their hands. The ramp for the parking lot was narrow and daunting to maneuver. The pools were beautiful but ice cold. The jacuzzi was nice and worked but the granite trim was busted and my son scratched his back on a sharp edge a couple times (not serious, just uncomfortable). That's me being picky.

We did not have the breakfast, the location was a little tricky. Narrow roads (although pretty) and lots of "one-way" traffic made coming and going a little bit inconvenient.

Hotel bar and next door restaurant very overpriced for what they are. Hotel bar (Zaragoza Grill) is dire, no atmosphere, more like a nursing home. Tack Room has good food but is charging top dollar for average ambience and service. Not the hotels fault but downtown Laredo died a few years ago and is now mostly derelict…

Very nice older hotel, everywhere very clean, lovely grounds and pool areas. Convenient parking under the hotel. Great room overlooking the river and the border crossings. Hotel is right in the downtown.
