Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaBed was lumpy but the pillows were amazing. Also, because it's located downtown, there were some issues with skateboarders hanging out right outside the parking lot. Didn't make me feel very safe and made me worry a little about my car.
The room was very clean. Parking was very convenient. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Centrally located, could walk to everything down town. Free breakfast in the morning.

United States of AmericaI miss the hot breakfast that they used to serve there (waffles, etc...) but the continental breakfast provided is adequate. The heating/cooling in the room is a bit loud compared to the modern min-splits used in most newer rooms. The fan is loud and it cycles on and off frequently.
The room is clean and the hotel location can't be beat for exploring downtown Sandpoint. It is close to all the good bars and restaurants.

United States of AmericaWe were extremely pleased with our stay and room, only things we were bummed about were the fire place that did not work and the jacuzzi tub in the room would not stay full! We would get it full turn on the jets and with in 15 minutes the water would be drained below the jets and we would have to turn them off and refill. It really was an inconvenience because we rented the room for the fireplace and jacuzzi tub!
Location was great , walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had the jacuzzi sweet, it had free private parking right next to our door! The room was up do date and very clean. We wanted to take the bed home with us, most comfortable bed we have ever slept in in a hotel! Room was right on a street but the sound canceling walls and doors made it seem extremely quiet in the room. Breakfast was grab and go, burritos fruit pastries bagels juice tea coffee bottled water.

United States of AmericaIt didn't look as though the closet had been swept or the toilet thoroughly scrubbed. And the room was too hot for me. The fan kept blowing out hot air over the beds. Once I was able to ajust the temperature so it was more comfortable for me, I slept really well.
The beds & the quality of the linens were excellent. It was also very quiet and felt safe. I was on the ground floor and could see my car just outside the sliding doors. I really like the location, too. I have to pick up and drop off family at the Amtrak depot. The train goes through in the middle of the night. So it's nice to have somewhere to stay in case there are delays or the weather is bad.

United States of AmericaThe place is near perfect. I suppose the included breakfast, while decent, could be better.
The luxury suite with an emperor sized hot tub is perfect for a romantic stay.

United States of AmericaWe actually really liked the property. The only thing was when we got up in the morning we discovered there was no way to turn on the shower (or tub). The knob was completely missing. We only stayed one night and we were wanting to get on the road, otherwise we would have asked for a different room. But we did let them know at checkout and later received a call they were refunding our stay which was very nice.
Good location..it was quiet and very clean. It looked like the room we were in was recently updated.

United States of AmericaThe pictures didn’t match the room. Bed was squeaky and our room never got freshened up and we stayed for 3 nights. The air blew directly on my face all night and I was no where near the vent.
The location was great. We could walk anywhere. The set up was different but it was pretty cool.

United States of AmericaAdvertised free breakfast but wasn’t expecting store bought jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches and frozen breakfast burritos. A bit disappointing. Bedroom door was coming off the hinges and hard to open and close. Hot tub needs to be a lot hotter. On google and Apple Maps it shows there’s an ev charger on site but there isn’t. None of these are a huge deal but things the hotel should work on.
