Nothing to put the coffee in after brewing it, the plastic cups that came with the coffee maker melted when pouring the coffee in, paper cups would have been better.

The beds were somewhat uncomfortable. We all woke up sore and not very well rested, I'm afraid. Everything else was good.

More spacious than expected, with a mini fridge, dining table, and microwave. Also, The arrangement of 3 beds was exactly what we needed, as I traveled with a friend and my adult son for a wedding.

The bed was comfortable but seemed a bit small for a queen size mattress. It worked out but originally I thought this was more of a traditional hotel with on-site staff when I booked it.

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the art in the room. It was easy to get into.

There is no one to check in with, and I had a very difficult time using the program on my phone. Also, there was no ice every motel hotel should have ice. For two days I had to go across the freeway to get ice.

I didn't like having loose dogs running around the parking lot. The owners let them roam around off leash.

I loved the thick, soft, quality towels. The bed was comfy.

The check in process is nonexistent. When they say "vacation rentals" they just mean a motel with no staff on site. I did not receive any check in information and had to call a number that went to a call center. It was a huge inconvenience and when I left my phone in my room (user error) I was completely screwed on getting back in without the 9 digit!! Door code. Multiple people were in the parking lot trying to get in to their rooms when I got back in the evening.

I did not like the lack of availability from people at the hotel. What really bothered me me the most was that the was not able to get clean towels when I requested them. I was told to take the ones I had to the laundry mat if wanted clean towels.

The booking in process was not good from our perspective. We didn’t realise it was contactless and it took us over 40 minutes to get into our room.

I have stayed at this location two other times in different rooms and found the stay to be comfortable… but this particular room was musty. The room was clean, but I believe there is mold behind the walls. We both had severe respiratory reactions only when we were in the room. It has a strong musky odor. I love the location and the price of this motel. This room was just unfortunate.

The hotel is a little on the old side and could use some updating.

The location was great: just a very short drive to the main part of town and the beach. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. It's a very good value for the cost. It was self-checkin using a door code, which was very convenient.

Pillows were awful and needed to be replaced. Door lock was very finicky and difficult to unlock. Sheets were on inside out like they had just flipped them instead of changing them.

--I didn't like that there was not a key, though, as I didn't like to have to dig out my phone and find the code. --There was a coffee maker and coffee, but there was only enough coffee to make 2 cups, insufficient for 2 nights. When I emailed to ask about getting more coffee for the room, I was told that it was not supplied and that I could go to a coffee shop. That was confusing to me as clearly there was coffee supplied, just not enough. The coffee maker and packets were in one of the photos of the room, so of course I assumed there would be adequate coffee for our stay. --Lastly, there were WAY too many emails!! Any of them were duplicates. For example, I just got two emails today asking me to give a rating and feedback for the room. All in all, for this stay, we probably received 20 emails, and only three or so of them were in answer to a direct question. The rest were solicited and redundant information about the reservation. All of these many emails made it difficult to find the ones with the important information. And so many texts that we eventually had to block the number.

--It was easy to get in. --The room was clean and bright...not what you'd expect from the outside. --Parking was plentiful and easy. We were able to park right outside the door. --The bed was comfy after we rotated the mattress. --No bad smells. It smelled clean without the overwhelming chemical scent of cleaners.

Because I didn't book well in advance, it was difficult to get in since there isn't anyone on site.

Good location for a road trip. Nearby to restaurants, a grocery store, and a car wash. Even though the room was on the smaller side, it seemed like they made good use of the space.
