The owner was so welcoming and helpful with the area. We really appreciated the small touches like the fresh fruit in the morning bagels and muffins. The area itself was gorgeous and spacious, and there is even a little balcony to watch the sunset.

The only thing I would have changed is the bed size. I believe it advertised a Queen bed but I’m pretty sure it was a double bed. A bit too small for us.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect!

I loved my stay here. It was great as both a birthday treat for myself and a writing retreat. It is quiet, comfortable, and the area is stunningly beautiful! The host is one in a million - I can't even begin to sing his praises. As a woman traveling alone, safety is always a concern, but I would recommend this to solo women travelers!

The owner went out of his way to be sure that everything was ship shape. In the morning, a fresh bowl of fruit was delivered to the suite and there was always coffee, ready to brew. We went out for breakfast, but there was plenty of breakfast choices of cereal, bagels, and English muffins that we could have eaten. We appreciated the beautiful location on the marsh and the quiet that came along with it. All we heard were birds and breeze. The suite itself was large and comfortable. Though only the bedroom was air conditioned, most of the day the coastal breezes kept the temperature comfortable.

Your 45 to 50 minutes from the Newport mansions. However, it's a great place, and Charlie makes you feel so at home.

The breakfast was great. Fruit salad and warm muffins each morning, both freshly made. Charlie brought them to our table each morning and reviewed our plans for the day. His suggestions for additional areas to visit were great. Also, Charlie made several suggestions for dinner. Every place we went to per his suggestions were wonderful. Your located right next to a bird sanctuary. The small deck off the living room provides beautiful views in the morning, and a fantastic sunset. For you Bird Watchers. Just step out on the deck. Charlie provides chairs, binoculars, a telescope, and a check off list you can use to help you spot the variety of birds in the area. Or you can walk to the bird sanctuary in 5 minutes. You can stroll along the waters of Rhode Island Sound and get closer to nature. Thank you, Charlie for sharing your beautiful home with us. We'll be back..

Being a solo female traveler, I would have liked a private entrance. But the property owner was extremely respectful of my privacy. I do think a door separating the suite from the main home would benefit greatly. But again, absolutely no particular issue.

Spacious 2 room suite (entire upper floor) with panoramic views of salt marshes and the bay. Beautiful sunsets from our balcony. Charlie (our host) was great, knowledgeable and helpful, and provided lots of great information about the area. During our stay, we were able to charge our EV overnight from the regular house outlet (120V, 12A) for a reasonable fee. The house is in a peaceful, quiet setting, with lovely cafe & restaurant at Tiverton Four Corners about 2+ miles away.

After dark it was a bit treacherous frankly to find the place

it’s an interesting property because after you find it and get into the room you realize that you are living on someone’s third floor, beautifully redecorated to be like a splendid apartment. However, there’s a sense of being wide open to everything and everyone right below you since there is no door to close off and have complete privacy from the downstairs. For us it was not a problem but for some, we believe, it would be a bit off pudding
