Pool was good, though crowded. But, enjoyed by the families. Our room location was great. We were in a quieter corner room with patio and it was pleasant.

*Our room was advertised as a "remodeled" upgrade room. It was far from it. The bathroom had new tile but an older tub. It was painted but not really an "upgrade" as such. We paid high dollars for the unit and felt it was not really an upgrade. The floor was dirty and needed washing. Our room was totally missed in room service one day!

I had an issue with the refrigerator and the maintenance person was there quickly and fixed the problem.

I am a native of Santa Barbara, so for me it isn't an issue, but for people from out of the area, not having at least a map of the area in the room may be a problem, especially since some of the employees are not familiar with directions of how to get to different parts of the City. Yes, there are lots of brochures, but personal knowledge of the staff would be helpful too. Also, there were no directions for how to use the television and the TV system only had streaming for the local channel, and no directions how to get to live programming. The system is quite confusing. I ordered a bloody mary to take to my room, and it was terrilble -- too much ice, hardly any mix and watered down to have almost no taste, plus the price was horrendous ($18.00) for what I received, As a result of that experience, I chose not to eat at the restaurant for, perhaps an erroneous assumption, that the food would be overpriced and not good.

Property is old and beds are hard solid like sleeping in rock

Honestly , nothing. Old building and seems like ownership won’t make or are ready to remodel the room and facilities.

No microwave. Pool chairs were so uncomfortable. Would have been ok if that had thicker towels to help. No towels at pool either.

Pool was great. My room was great.

However my family got the WORST room even though they stayed for 3 nights. It was small and dark with a small deck out front. You almost gave them the very worst room - with no deck - but changed to this one because I begged. and their bathroom was not very clean.

The pool and courtyard looked lovely. The room was spacious. The bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable.

One of our rooms was not updated. There was a stain on the carpet. The room seemed a bit tired. Our balcony was on a corner with another balcony and we could hear the people from the other room and their conversations. We did not want to go on the balcony when they were there because we were right on top of each other. The other room our family had was updated and in a better location - wished we had a room like that.

The beds were nice and comfy.

The floor was filthy. Our socks were black with dirt after a couple of minutes inside. The walls were also filthy. A lampshade was taped to the wire and fell off constantly. No phone, no info on the hotel for us, like menus or restaurants or room service, which they claim to have. The patio door was broken so we were unable to access our patio. Homeless encampment on the other side of a fence. We were accosted twice by some impaired folks, which was horrible. Yelling and screaming at us, for no reason. The pass key to our unit opened others, not safe at all. No water!!! One of the great things about this place, as this was our second time, was a tiki bar. Not open. Spent $1000 for 4 nights. Front desk was clueless and literally didn't know what to say. We didn't make a big deal, but definitely, don't stay here.

Comfortable bed, pillows, fridge, TV, balcony with table and chairs. Clean room, good parking, clean sheets and towels.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The property feels very old and in need of renovation – the walls haven’t been repainted for years, and there were visible signs of damage in the room (see photo). The receptionist was not welcoming, and even at the front desk we noticed a spider, which did not create a good first impression. The Wi-Fi was almost unusable, and the bathroom amenities were prepared only for one person, although the room was booked for two. There was no toilet brush and no kettle provided in the room, which made the stay less comfortable. As a frequent traveler, I can say that the hotel does not correspond to its price level. It requires improvements in both facilities and service.
