Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusI would suggest people take their own toiletries or the hotel opts for the option other hotels have with the fixed refillable in the bath. That way they would be more green and you wouldn’t have to worry about not having enough shower gel. Fair to say though that they never denied more when requested.
It is exactly what it advertises, a no frills hotel priced very fairly based on location. Beds are firm and comfortable and all areas are very clean. Staff are friendly and willing to help. 2 minute walk to the subway and just 1 stop away from Manhattan. Not much in the area but there are a few places to grab a meal if you are tired to travel and the neighbourhood is quiet and feels safe. Breakfast is plain and simple, all you need to start the day.

Poland-
We are very satisfied, the breakfasts were really delicious and varied. Of course, in Europe we eat more vegetables and fruits, but this is America ! The selection was very large: milk, cereal, yogurt, oranges, bananas, apples, waffles, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, ham, cheeses, rolls, lettuce, tomatoes, toast, sausages, burgers, even pasta with meat and tortilla ! What more do you want ? Good location, very close to the subway station, you can even walk to Manhattan. Nearby stores and everything you need. To the center of NY very close. Staff very nice, the hotel very clean, cleaned the room daily, changed our towels and replenished toiletries in the bathroom. Last year we stayed in a hotel in Manhattan, but we liked LIC Plaza better ! Thanks !

United KingdomThe only thing we didn’t enjoy about our stay was that we were awoken early each morning by others in a room on the same floor who talked loudly and slammed doors. However, this was not anything critical with the hotel itself which was very food.
The size of the room and location near to 3 subway stops. The option to have breakfast included was also really handy. The hotel staff also very kindly fulfilled our request to have a room with a view.

United States of AmericaThe location was really nice. It was very close to the subway, and I felt safe in the area (as a woman I would suggest coming back at a reasonable hour like 9 or 10). The breakfast was really nice. It had fruit, breads, yogurt, and sausages. It obviously was not five stars, but I go a perfectly nice breakfast. I was very impressed with the services and had everything I needed. The staff were very kind and helpful!

United States of AmericaBreakfast were not really good. Though it’s good to be included with the price. Receptionists doesn’t know where are the nearest pay parking. Even though I called a day before and asked where we can park they just said “will tell the details when we got there.” And when we arrived, the receptionist was clueless. We need to search on our own and ask the bystanders outside for any nearest pay parking. It consumed our 1hr of time to just find a pay parking nearby. When we travel 12hrs by land to get there. We’re already aware they don’t have a parking. But not knowing where to guide us for any pay parking was really bad in their end.
The room was really clean and tidy everyday. Fresh towels and shampoo every day as well. Our room were always well maintained. I commend the environmental for doing their job properly.

Perfectly clean, beds were comfortable, room was quiet, breakfast was plentiful and the choices were great, competent friendly staff. And around the corner was a perfect little spot called Carla’s. Great margaritas and light dinner/snacks.

United States of AmericaOn premise parking would be a good addition.
While the front facade isn't much to look at, the building and rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly. Complementary breakfast was well done with many options. This hotel is a hidden gem.

LatviaThe bed mattress is a bit on the hard side and the door sound insulation is not great, but it's a minor issue for great price.
One of the best budget hotels in NYC. The location is two stops from Central Park, in Long Island City—a very safe location with good Subway connections and multiple lines. Long Island City has many shops, cafes and even a classic Diner. All in walking distance from the hotel. The room has tea, coffee coffee-making place, microwave in the room. Special thanks to the hotel staff, which is very nice and welcoming. This was my second time here and I will stay here again.

United States of AmericaThe surrounding area is not that great but if you just need a place where to sleep in the area, this place will work great!
The location was convenient for our needs. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and big for NYC standards (thank you!). The front desk staff was helpful and addressed our needs. Breakfast was very basic but with all the things needed.

ItalyYou could hear the noise from the street outside, but it is a secondary one so there wasn't much traffic. I could still sleep very well
The room and the facility were extremely clean. The location is good, 3 minutes walking from the train that goes to Manhattan every 5 minutes. The building was simple but it had all was needed. They had a room for breakfast with waffles, sausages, bagels, eggs, fruits... They also provide a transfer for the airport at a good price, witch was really helpful.

United States of AmericaI have no complaints.
This is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, in any class. Warm, comfortable bed, pleasant lighting, and again: clean, clean, clean! The price is affordable, the buffet breakfast is attended with care and the staff are wonderful people. A block and a half away is a major metro hub in Queens, and from my window I could see the Queensborough Bridge & Manhattan skyline. Magnificent! There are excellent restaurants and delis very close by, one of which is 24 hours (so you never need be hungry).

ItalyI was not particularly impressed with the quality of the breakfast, overall. However I cannot really rate it as negative and given what we paid it was fair and offered all the basics (coffee, toasts, a bit of fresh fruit, eggs etc.). After six days I was just a bit bored, but this is really a personal concern. One suggestion: every day two conditioners and one body wash are offered. I'd just replace the set because it doesn't make much sense: maybe two bodywash, one conditioner and one shampoo. The shampoo was missing, so we bought one at the store. To be honest, we didn't ask the hotel staff if there was any, but maybe they did have shampoo to offer. We just preferred getting a branded shampoo. If you could add a couple of herbal tea to the complimentary set in the room and at breakfast that would also improve the quality of the stay as not everybody likes regular black tea.
The hotel staff was great and the location convenient, just a couple of minutes away from the nearest subway station (Queensborough Plaza) with trains directed to Manhattan every few minutes. The area, al least the closest blocks, is not particularly appealing in terms of shops and restaurants, but you'll still find everything you need (24h market, drug store, starbucks). We appreciated the cleanness of the room, which is the one thing we were really worried about having had not so pleasant experiences in the past at other hotels. We also had a microwave in the room and coffee machine, which was perfect as one of us got sick one day and we managed to stay in 24h without any kind of problem. We had a minor issue with the tv. The staff fixed it right away! We also booked the shuttle from JFK to the hotel as we were exhausted by the flight. Although we had to wait in line at the border for more than an hour, we stayed in contact with the hotel staff and the shuttle was ready for us at the pickup point as soon as we got out of the airport. No pressure, no rush, no nothing. Very kind and professional people. 10/10!
