Breakfast was tasty, new and interesting. We really loved the biking trail was nearby. We appreciated the quiet rooms and kind staff.

The pool was dark due to burnt out lights. The shower faucets were not functioning properly. I’d appreciate coffee in my room.

In room 125 there was a musty smell, it should have been aired out before we got there , we opened the windows and put air conditioner on, but it felt like our clothes smelled after the night was over

Location was great. A couple more swings or chairs facing the lake would be nice. Breakfast was not big, but good for the price.

The location is fantastic. Right on the lake, the views are stunning, especially from the restaurant and bar. While it feels isolated, the hotel is within short walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Lobby staff are strangely unfriendly. I walked through the lobby probably three dozen times with very few greetings or even acknowledgements. Weird. Restaurant menu is sorely lacking of healthy choices. I don't know if that is a Wisconsin thing or a hotel thing, but this California fellow was cranky for some vegetables when he got home from his trip.

Hotel is very dated as our all of the furnishings. Really needs to be updated.

The location along the lake is wonderful. We loved soaking up the views. Staff is pleasant and the restaurant is great.

There are many areas that need to be replaced: room doors need better safety locks, mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. Great bedding sets a place above the competition! The older tables and lamps wouldn’t seem so old and would register as more cute and quaint if the mattresses and bedding were updated. Also, the carpet was filthy and in need of cleaning or replacement. You have a diamond in the rough. Do what’s needed to make it great.

The room smelled musty, which really bothered me (allergies).

LOVED being so close to the lake! We also enjoyed the restaurant for both supper the night before and breakfast. So beautiful, convenient and the food was very good! Loved the decor of both the restaurant and our room.

Very musty and moldy smelly. Over use of spray in rooms to cover it up. Need some dehumidifiers and open up rooms. New beds would be a plus too.

While clearly an older hotel, it was super clean. The details were done. Anything that needed an update, was updated. Shower was good. Bar was good. Location was good. We didn't use the restaurant, but looks good.

We stay every year at the same time. Price was increased quite a bit.

The location is incredible. Opening the window and falling asleep to the sound of Lake Michigan’s waves was the best part!

The place was clean. It could use a little updating though.
