Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesDid not like that it was $32/day to park in the hotel parking lot. Luckily, we came in on Sunday and left very early in the morning on Monday so we parked on the street.
Bed was very comfortable, loved the tall ceilings and very quiet hotel!

United StatesDidn't realize that there wasn't an elevator to reach the 2nd floor to my room. Just an excessive numerous of stairs to climb in order to carry our luggage and etc. The parking lot spaces were very compact and crowded. Luckily I managed to find a parking spot considering I had to pay for parking during my overnight stay.
The location was fine. I didn't have the chance to eat breakfast there.

United StatesThe tv’s are very outdated. Carpet seemed a bit old. Had no towels but maybe one small towel. Only had one coffeee cup lid. Was very hot walking in. Had to leave for a couple hours once we got there jsut to let cool down.
Loved the court yard, and the room layout being two stories was very cool compared to other rooms I’ve been in. The diner down stairs was great food for room service.

United StatesIt was expensive to stay and parking was an additional $29, with a parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Although the location of the parking was very convenient, you had to use a room key card to enter/exit the automated parking system - meaning you had to check-in first (not convenient) and if you checked out and turned in your room key card, you had to find assistance to exit (why not just have gate open for exiting like at most locations?). Also, the hotel apparently hosts a lot of weddings and other functions and it can be very crowded and noisy in the lobby area.
Lovely, historic building with a great location within the city (easy walk to the Old Market area). Our room was huge, had excellent air conditioning and was very clean and comfortable for sleeping. Nice bar in the lobby, albeit quite expensive.

United StatesBreakfast took ages: 10mins to get OJ and regular coffee, and 30mins+ to get toast and fruit. We asked for the check at same time as ordering and let them know we had to leave within 20mins to attend a funeral (we were wearing black). We never got the fruit, toast, or check within 30mins of sitting down. We left $20 on the table -- there was no staff around, and so we quietly left. (It was not busy)
Everything was fine, the building itself was architecturally and historically interesting. The rooms/staff/decor were not unusual.

United StatesWe had to pay $21 for a movie to watch on our TV. That was disappointing as we could not stream anything and were ready to relax in our room after a wonderful cocktail from the restaurant. The cost of everything in the area is already high that just made you feel yucky.
Love the history of the building! Its walking distance from everything you'd want to go do!

United StatesGood location downtown. The room was quite nice though a couple of things could be checked, the chain lock on the door was not installed properly, easily fixed and there had been a water problem somewhere as there were blowers in one of the staircases. Overall though a lovely old building with interesting history and the staff are very kind.

United StatesParking access. There is an intercom at the gate that is broken.
Parking is a challenge. There is a fenced lot but you can’t get in until you have checked in. It’s urban so you have to expect that street access to the lobby is limited. It’s an Art Deco era design that could use some refurbishing but is lovely regardless. Great beds. Very clean.

United StatesOne thing that would’ve been nice to have is a little sink in the kitchenette area. There was a microwave, mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, but no water or sink. This is in the King Executive loft.
Very classy but not pretentious place ! Comfortable furniture, big room, great front desk staff! The bay window looking out into the courtyard was beautiful. A wedding party took their photos out there and it was lovely to see the happy couple from our room!
