The staff of females went against company rules and when they got in trouble with the manager they tried to make it look like I was doing something I did not do with another guest. That could have gotten me in trouble with the law. But I reported it to the Law.

Unfortunately, the room experience was quite disappointing. The space was extremely cramped for six beds, leaving no room to move around. The bathroom was dirty and practically unusable, with very poor hygiene conditions.

The location of the hostel is excellent! The team was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Special thanks to Gonzalo at check-in and Oriana at check-out, both were very professional and welcoming.

It was very dirty, it smelled strange in the bedroom. At first it wasnt a big problem but after some days it was not tolerable if you are used ro Western standards. There was some people there who was acting a bit strange. They tried to offer us an upgrade of the room in exchange for a better review on this site. We wasn't very pleased with the stay

It was private and I was able to get some much needed rest.

I checked in about 10pm on a Saturday night the people were very friendly and helpful, i enjoyed a quiet restful sleep, woke up and checked out at around 11am feeling good And rested, went to breakfast and continued my journey.

As someone who has been to many hostels worldwide, this one was a little wierd, there weren't any students there, mostly older people in their late 30s, there was no stove in the kitchen (Ovens were included though). At night a non-resident went into my room to sleep so I went to the front desk and the guy said he would take care of it but kept playing on his computer while I waited 30 mins until I just gave up went back to my room to go sleep, when we woke up, all our chargers were stolen. For future stayers, make sure the room lock is enabled as ours was accidently turned off.

The location of this hostel is insane, just a short 10 second walk and you're already in the art deco district with many nice resturants and bars. The beach is only a 40 second walk. They provide a list with excursions if you dont have any plans. The common area is huge with many comfortable seating areas. Sofia at the desk was very helpful and provided us with a pleasent check out at the end of our trip.

The in-room air conditioners were set too low, ran on high all day and night blowing cold air on guests trying to sleep. No blankets were provided, just a sheet, even though the temperature was set at 64 degrees F. I have lived in Florida forty years and I went home very sick. No one said that the setting was changeable until I complained to a staff member after suffering through the chill for three nights. I raised the setting to 74 degrees but it made little difference. Also there were no public restrooms in the building outside of the assigned rooms, which meant no guarantee of finding an available toilet when needed since there were up to six persons per dorm room. The eating area near the basement kitchen was kept clean enough but all furniture was shabby with heavily marked up worn off paint. It did not seem normal for a glamourous resort city, and I think management should be replaced.

The location on Washington Avenue and 9th Street was extremely convenient, and close to food stores, fast food, a diner, a museum, bus stops, and close to the beach.

I am still waiting for my $20 deposit to be refunded!! I have held off doing a review. I have requested it twice, sent a copy of my card transactions but to no avail. I believe other people have had the same problem!! I stayed at another hostel in Miami and received the refund 2 days after I left. It's now months!! Please refund ASAP!!

Good location near beach, shops, airport bus. Clean dorm with ensuite bathroom. Decent kitchen and lounge but it got crowded. No kettle so had to use the microwave to boil water, no stove top, there were some things to cook in but not easy.

I caused water flood -better shower curtain. I will pay for smaller hostel. Tough awaiting bathroom 1 rude bath buddy. She spent two full hours in rest room. No had to use outside bathroom 3 times. Just this issue communication solved problem among group pleasant end....
