To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaVery thin walls and could hear neighbors. But everyone was respectful, and noise stopped at appropriate times. I wish there had been coffee and tea, along with cream and sugar, to make a hot beverage. Basic items found at most stays, especially for the price. But definitely not a deal breaker.
Very clean! The bed was comfortable. The water pressure and temperature were great. I appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave. Location was great. Having my favorite bakery in the building -Moleko- (sp?) was a special bonus.

The instructions provided to access the unit were clear and easy to follow. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We were grateful for the extra beach towels and ac unit.

United States of AmericaI wanted this exact view because you get a peekaboo view of the University of Hawaii at Manoa through the buildings, my Alma mater. And I love the Koolau mountain range. The room’s location is very convenient and there’s a microwave and small fridge in the room so you can bring home leftovers and heat them up. The room is clean and has everything I needed. I would definitely like to come back again☺️

United States of Americai enjoyed the self check in process, the bed was comfortable, hosts provided a small plug in electric stovetop which was really convenient. the room was always cool, AC was window unit but i dont mind the noise. i actually enjoyed it. my boyfriend and I found it exceptionally comfortable to be in. it’s small but the view is amazing.

Everything was expensive even little bit extra milk was extra. Very disappointed that we found fry pans in the cabinet but nothing to cook on where is disappointed
