Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI messaged ahead to find out about any dog fees and wasn’t told til I got there that there was a $100 deposit. Could have been a problem and I like to plan ahead to make sure everything is covered.
Good for the price

United KingdomNo in-room coffee/tea maker - seems to be a common issue in this region of USA compared to other parts - and nowhere to make even hot water on demand elsewhere within the motel (usually this is provided in a lobby/breakfast area), so that could be a consideration for some guests; for any Europeans travelling to this region of USA I'd recommend bringing a travel kettle, some lightweight ones are available online, we've not seen an in-room Keurig for a week on the road now! Pillows seemed comfortable when I went to bed but woke up with unbelievable neck stiffness and pain, still can't twist my neck to the right! The noise was the worst part though. Anytime someone walked around upstairs we could hear it in our ground floor room; like, hear it as if the person was stomping directly onto my eardrums. It sounded like the ceiling is made of a thin layer of squeaky empty cereal boxes. Also no net curtains or similar so if you're on ground level you have to choose between closed = privacy, or open = natural light, but you can't have both. Overall I think it'd be not too bad a place for 1 night but 100% request an upstairs ("2nd floor") room so there's less of these issues.
No bed bugs on inspection, and the room was generally quite clean. I wear flip flops/shower shoes in most budget stays as standard to prevent contracting infections, but I would almost have considered forgoing them in our bathroom as it looked pretty clean and the bathtub had surprisingly few stains. The lobby had a no smoking sign whilst smelling of old tobacco BUT room had no lingering smoke smells so that was good. Check-in staff seemed a little odd (had to repeat things a few times, but perhaps he was struggling with my accent) but very friendly and efficient. Everything in the room worked, appeared to have been renovated within the past 5-10yrs or maybe less, things didn't feel too dated or worn out. New-ish TV with normal channels but also Netflix/Disney/Amazon etc capabilities to use your own accounts on which is nice to have and a bit of a rarity in cheap motels.

United StatesPretty bare-bones in the coffee area
Breakfast was excellent. I went to Hardees to get some. The best aspect of our returning time after time is the staff. The young lady at the "check-in" desk is a tremendous asset for the Hannibal Motel 6 !

United StatesUnfortunately, the window view was disappointing — it faced a wall and a hill, which made the room feel a bit closed in. Also, the bedsheet was made of synthetic material, which I personally find uncomfortable. During my stay, the pool was not working and breakfast wasn’t available, which was a bit inconvenient.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located in Hannibal — a charming little town with interesting history. It’s the hometown of Mark Twain and inspired the setting of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, so it's a great place to explore if you're into literature or American history.

United StatesWe had a terrible time sleeping because the people above us sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. They must’ve been jumping on the bed and stomping around the floor until 130 in the morning. I don’t know if it was noisy guess or a very thin ceiling.
