Room was quite small. The location is awkward. Although it's not far from the subway station there is NOTHING in the immediate vicinity. Everything is over 10 mins walk, even Starbucks. The large groups of males on the street by the hotel could cause unease, although they were quiet and did not disturb passers by as far as I noticed.

hotel was clean. Reception was helpful. A small issue with the room was fixed the same day. Complimentary breakfast was provided which was helpful given the hotel's location. Good variety of restaurants and access to the waterfront around a mile away from hotel

Noise from the railway station in some rooms. We stayed at 2 different rooms and the second room was more sound proof as it was situated on the opposite side of the hotel. One of the rooms was very small, limited sitting area and no wardrobes.

Proximity to Manhattan, cleanliness of the hotel and the room, kind and helpful personnel, complimentary coffee and tea. One of 2 rooms was spacious and had a lot of sitting area and spacious bathroom. Indoor store was a great saviour for the quick provision and snacks.

There is no closet in the room. It would have been great to have one to store the clothes.

The cleanliness, there is no carpet in the room which I really appreciate. The breakfast options with fresh fruit.

Great hidden gem of a place to stay in New York.

We requested a room to not face the train tracks and the noise from the trains were pretty loud throughout the night. We also had called to change our type of room (beds) months before and was told it was done, but found out it was not changed, but only noted. The beds aren't the most comfortable and our room did not have any drawers or really any place to unpack our clothes. We were given complimentary breakfast for our stay because of our inconvenience, but didn't take full advantage of it. The times that we were able to go (around 8:30am) it was crowded and they only had one person making the hot food for you and had to wait awhile. The cooks were very patient and kind.

The room was spacious and clean. Hotel was quiet considering it was a fully booked. The housekeeping came every day. I like the 24 hour manned desk and felt secure. Convenient to transportation. Great value. Staff was great! Luis is the best manager. His efforts to accomodate our original requests and make up for our inconvenience shows how much they care about their clients.

The window in our room wasn't well insulated so the noise from the trains and subway that run right in front of the hotel was louder than expected.

The room was very clean and modern, the 24 hour coffee was very good, the staff very helpful and pleasant. There was free street side parking and the hotel is well situated, just a few streets from the subway.

Location is not great. It’s a short walk from the subway but there’s nothing around. Also it didn’t feel very safe. Price was a bit steep but that’s NY for you

The only thing I didn’t like about was when I first checked in the the first I got smelled like smoke but the staff were able to get me into another room that smelled freshly cleaned.

I like how the property is not in a heavy crowded area. Also how when you walk into the property it smells very clean and fresh. Also that this property has a whole little snack section to buy stuff from.

The beds aren't very comfortable and the blankets weren't enough for a cold winter night. The room looked and felt cheap, which is what I expected, but it felt cheap nonetheless. There was a hair in my bed, but... I'm not that squeamish, and I had already paid. Also, walking from Hunter's Point subway station felt a little dangerous as a solo traveler.

I loved the value. You can't beat the prices that Feather Factory offers. Great location, great little convenience shop inside, friendly staff. The bath was nice too-- large and deep, and the water was hot. The bed and rooms were reasonably clean.
