Cute house in the woods of Virginia

The location was perfect with being minutes away from wineries, breweries, restaurants, etc. and close to Charlottesville as well. The house is on a quiet, private road in the woods. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, etc.

I’m really scraping the bottom of the barrel to think of something! The comforter was too warm for summer ….

Gorgeous renovation with great style and attention to detail - a really luxurious, well-curated space. The photos don’t do it justice - it is even better in real life. Perfect secluded location but close to Charlottesville, Montpellier and wineries.

    No complaints.

It’s a nice little cabin nestled away from the main street. The property is nicely equipped with everything you could ask for during your stay. The host was very prompt in her replies and even offered some advice to make my stay pleasant. I really appreciate the fact that they had a water and food bowl for my dog! Super nice touch for us doggie parents.

Slept well, nice setting, value was not there

Cheap decor, uncomfortable couch, more style than function with garish plastic flowers and plastic indoor plants. High price for a poorly built cabin. Also setting is quite natural, without any particular care in the garden, the seating areas indoor or outdoor are not comfortable, realistically one would not sit there and enjoy the deck or the “living room”. Shower was nice and overall clean, found some hair in the shower but it was indeed clean regardless. The service was prompt and attentive. With a well appointed small kitchenette that has everything you could possibly need. They do provide Keurig coffee which I personally find very wasteful due to plastic waste, there is no recycling bin and this was a drawback but we brought ours back. Additionally the price is very high yet they expect you to do your own laundry from linens as if the Ritz Carlton asked for that. It seems more like an Airbnb. The way the worded things “should go without saying” also does not reflect an understanding of what hospitality industry “should” provide

Nice quiet setting in Ivy, although you could hear faint noise form 64
