We are an older couple and the number of stairs required was not specified in the information about the motel. It was very difficult to get the luggage to the room. The rooms was also very small. The parking situation was also not good since stair climbing was required to get from the car to the room.

It was fairly close to the town of Jim Thorpe.

can hear everything going on upstairs, EVERYTHING. we literally got not sleep! cigarette cup on non smoking room provided on porch was permanently screwed on fences and FULL. broken step very dangerous. no one on site but staff answered phone for door code and helped immediately

Had to park in the back. Old people looking out their windows in front making sure of that. Creepy vibe from neighbors.

It was close to downtown approx 1.5 miles away. The heater worked well in the room. The shower was good.

The neighbors next door fighting at 5:00 am. The lock system didn't work on the back door. The front house area was not cleared of ice. Very dangerous.

What breakfast? I liked the security locks. I like how close I was to Jim Thorpe. I could leave the car and walk the mile into town.

Location was good. 4 min drive from town. We went to celebrate our engagement. It was a cute rustic place. We love historic buildings so it was the right fit for us. It was quiet and we enjoyed our time. Bed was a little tough but other than that, we had a great experience.

We may have had faulty expectations. The narrow stairway should have been delineated. The whirlpool jets did not work. The setting next to a burned house was a bit jarring. Parking was an issue, is in all of Jim Thorpe we learned. IF we were expecting more like an AirBNB or “guest house” it would have fit those expectations much better.

The view from the deck was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. Lots of how water and great shower head.

Good price and location for Jim Thorpe

Lack of response from host. Never met owner and replies were often slow in coming to text or email. Price was high for age of house and upkeep of property. Small problems - Bathroom light flashed when AC compressor ran at times. One jet was not adjustable and on/off button was missing on spa tub. Narrow stairs and possible tripping hazards because of the stairs. Did not matter that much to us but listing said cable channels and there was no cable. Just a Roku tv.

Place was very clean. Also loved the roof top deck. We stayed on the top floor and it seemed like another private room to our suite.

Only a double bed. I booked a king size bed on booking.com and ended up with a double bed. I didn’t double check the confirmation, which was my fault, but didn’t think I had to. Since I picked the king bed. Plus the back key lock didn’t work, so had to go around front to get in.
