Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThere was loud pumping music for hours and hours. When we asked the manager he told us it was the vibe they were going for "party from check in to check out". That being said when we asked for a room further away from the bar (we were originally on the 2nd floor), they moved us to 4 where there was less noise. Also there were hairs all over our shower. The staff was apathetic overall.
Clean and modern. Great decor. Nice lobby to hand out in and a fantastic gym.

United StatesThe bed was not very soft and we could have used a trashcan in the room proper. The most confusing piece was when we pulled up to valet, we weren't sure if the valet's were part of the hotel or not. The system was confusing. Your website should be clearer about that.
The location was great. We were there for the drum corps show and it's about a mile from the stadium. Didn't eat there. Had a couple of cocktails and the bartenders were great. Teh uniqueness of the hotel, though. Top notch.

United StatesHad a great overnight stay — hotel’s location is perfect for shows at the Archer Music Hall. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Valet parking was great too — my car was ready as scheduled for my early morning departure. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and my room was immaculate. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.

United StatesAlthough unique and different, some of the amenities weren’t helpful. Ie; the luggage rack was too small for the suitcase.
The atmosphere was fun and interesting. Unique.

United StatesFor someone a little older, it would have been helpful to have a chair set up in the room. The absence of an ice machine on my floor was a bit of a nuisance, but you can get ice at the bar.
I did not have breakfast. I was disappointed that it wasn't available at 7:15 am, and I had to get on the road. I really loved the bar area where I could meet people and have a bite to eat after a long day of travel. The ambiance was great, and the staff were wonderful, including the valet who escorted me in, and at my age, offered to show me how the link worked for requesting my car, and paying on line. He was great, as were the bartender and the reservationist.

United StatesThe decor is circus themed, ranging from gaudily whimsical to genuinely grotesque. The hallway from the elevator to our room felt like a mash-up of Betelgeuse and The Shining. The decor also looks tired in some places, like an art installation near the lobby of circus animals and ViewMasters in which most of the ViewMasters are broken. We were relieved that the circus theme was mostly absent in our hotel room (just some macabre clown art).
The staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. There is a hotel bar that serves a limited menu of snacks and there are a number of restaurants nearby that the bartender took the time to describe and rate for us. The room was neat, clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

United StatesI didn't like the parking situation since they don't have their own parking garage. It was pretty noisy since we were facing the main street. Plus construction in the morning woke us up. Bed was too hard and there wasn't a mini fridge, microwave or coffee machine. That would have made it better.
I liked the whole vibe, decor etc. It smells really good when you first enter the lobby/bar area too. I really liked the design of the bathroom. All of the extra hooks on the wall in the room came in handy. I really liked the one picture on the wall that was a bunch of prints. You could take one if you wanted to, wasn't my style but great idea. It was the perfect location to stay at so my daughter could go to a concert at Archer Music Hall. I liked that they gave you poker chips for a complimentary alcoholic or non alcoholic drink. That was a nice touch.

United StatesThere was an initial error and miscommunication with the number of rooms booked, and the receptionist was not initially helpful. Customer service at booking was also delayed. Finally receptionist offered assistance and then realized that one room at the hotel was under another name.

United StatesPaying an additional $20 dollars a night for forced valet parking. There is no easy way to check in and park elsewhere so you get stuck paying and waiting for valet. There was very little selection of food on site.
It was very fun and unique. The lounge area very welcoming and attractive

United StatesGood for couples but no kids. Daughter went to first floor gym and some guys knock on glass (gym has them all over) and asked to let them in, which she didn’t as she told them that if they were staying they would had their key to get in. She waited and called me to get her as she didn’t feel safe leaving the gym. There is no good security for this issue.
The vibe was great. Bartender lady really friendly. I visited with my 17 year old daughter. The shower head was awesome

United StatesTo start, you’re essentially checking in at a night club. Whoever decided to place the check in counter at the bar is not the brightest. Our first room had a bra on the floor. Hard to believe the room was actually clean if they somehow missed underwear from the previous guest in the middle of the floor. We were moved to a second room and were warned by someone in the hall that maintenance had been at that room the last few days. Upon entering we learned it was because the door doesn’t close! We were then offered a bunk room at $50 off. It was the “best they could do”. We declined and were looking for another hotel when the food and beverage manager, Kenny, came up to us and actually tried to help. He got us into the Renaissance down the street for free after some time. The whole process of trying to get into a half way decent room to sleep took about 2 hours and required us to walk a half a mile with all of our bags. Would never stay at the Moxy, but Kenny is the man.

United KingdomShower didn't drain and flooded bathroom, went to tell front desk. Was told maintenance guy wasn't in until 1pm and nothing can be done until then. After telling him we need a shower we were given keys to another room just to shower and the problem in our room would be fixed by the time we came back from our day at Dorney Park. Apparently we couldn't be changed rooms because we booked through booking.com. When we came back from our day out, the shower hadn't been touched and still flooded, went straight to reception where a different person to the morning was there, told her what happened and she said it was the maintenance guys day off! You couldn't make it up. We were then given a different room with a shower that actually works for us to stay in the 2nd night. Both rooms we stayed in were also very dirty, dust and hair all over the window ledges and skirting boards, rubbish under the bed, balloons under the bed, shower floor was slimy. For a hotel that's part of the Marriott company, I'd have expected so much better.
Bed was comfy, decor was good. Close to Dorney Park
