Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaHotel hallway painted a very dark blue, kind of gave creepy ship/submarine vibes.
Cute, trendy room. Parking very close to entrance and hotel located very close to concert venue.

United States of AmericaIf there would have been a mini fridge in the room, it would have been perfect.
The hotel staff was very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are minimalist, stylish, and clean. I like that there is a bar and it was kind of a social experience staying at the Moxy. I liked the location. Very close to everything, and plenty to do within walking distance. Lots to do even without leaving the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe only thing I could say is the elevators. Only one set takes you to the parking deck but doesn’t have separate controls. You have to just push the button until the one for parking deck opens, but wasn’t a huge deal.
The hotel had an awesome vibe. I loved the industrial feel of the rooms. The lobby area was fun and full of energy. Parking was so much cheaper than other places I have stayed around town.

United States of AmericaThe room was fine for the stay for the night, but it was on the smaller side of space in the room, even though the bed was king size. But other than that, there’s no complaints.
It was in close contact with activities and great restaurants within five minutes or so of the hotel. Everyone was nice and helpful and it was just a really neat atmosphere.

United States of AmericaThe hallways were all painted Dark Navy Blue. Even the room numbers and the ceilings. The colors made it look scary and it was just weird. You check in at the bar, I have difficulty hearing so with the music up and people talking it was hard to hear they were trying to tell me at check in. Also we had to pay $35 to park.
It is cute and trendy! I loved the room. They were Boho and super accommodating. The staff was friendly and even brought us a fan when my husband wanted it cooler in the room. The bar was neat and clean again very trendy!

United States of AmericaBathroom not private enough. Door did not seal. Also door rolled open to make it worse. Main door needed to be pushed shut. Hotel is far too dark. Black paint depressing. Black lobby depressing. Candy pinky accents outdated. Not quite enough storage space. Needs desk chair. Needs reading light on far side of bed. I try not to stay in hotels with unopenable windows.
Cleanliness. Location. Staff. Elevators. Linens. Blind was excellent. Clothing hooks. Ventilation system worked. Much Nicer than holiday inn or Hilton.

United States of AmericaI didn’t realize parking was an additional fee, PLUS I had to put a card in file with a hold that was way more than the price of the room! For the price of the hotel, parking should be included.
