Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff was unbelievably helpful! My flights got canceled and they let me know, and worked with me on getting the taxi when I needed it. The room was super clean and the amenities were topnotch

My first time in this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised, the place is clean and the appliances are new including the shower, it's fun to come to a place that feels close to home especially if you are traveling with the children, there is a large fridge, a microwave, a toaster and a very large room, I liked the thinking and attention to detail - dish soap, Paper towel, 4 towels - well done!

I have no complaints.
The hotel paid for my taxi to the airport. That was an awesome experience. I’ve never had a hotel pay for my taxi to any airport. The front desk gentleman was very polite and helpful.

TV was cumbersome to use- there were no directions.

Would be handy if guests had access to EV charging during their stay as that helps save time on a road trip. Would be happy to pay additionally for that access especially if it could guarantee a charging spot in advance.
Friendly and welcoming staff, convenient little shop in the lobby for essentials, luggage carts available, pet friendly for a small fee. Nice big rooms with very comfortable bed and pillows. Full size fridge and kitchenette are really nice to have, especially when travelling with pets or family. Not too far from the highway and right next to the airport, but airplane noise wasn't an issue at all - slept great! Also excellent lighting in the room - warm colour temperature bulbs that were all consistent with each other - may sound like a small thing but makes a huge difference in feeling comfortable and being able to relax.

Move the donut wagon into the lobby and open it at 6am (just being facetious, we couldn't think of anything)
CLEAN room, good shower, super comfortable bed, fantastic pillows. Dog friendly, easy to get to and from our room, staff is so wonderful, whatever you ask they do it. We travel this way about twice a year for visiting relatives, and we always start and end our stay in beautiful Oregon at the Medford My Place. The location is perfect for shopping, and the donut wagon sure doesn't hurt! We also enjoy walking our dog on the grounds, and there's the business park right there, very peaceful. The views are spectacular. This hotel has actually become sort of a destination - we usually stay a day extra just to shop at nearby stores. Thanks!

Pick up the trash near the back exit door. For such a nice facility, don’t let the riff raft start growing their trash around at the back exit making the place look bad.

No free breakfast, but I don’t usually eat early anyway. They do offer breakfast in bed for like $7.50.
It was away from downtown so no homeless people hanging around. Good location central to all the sites. It was very clean and staff were extremely nice and helpful

No continental breakfast but there were items to buy. Free coffee, though! I’d rather have perfect room and safe location at a nice price than breakfast anyway!
The staff was so friendly when I arrived at 11:30 pm. Grateful for a bottom level room that I’d asked for and got so I could bring in 2 bikes. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable! The value at My Place is awesome. So happy there.
