Cooler afternoon temps! Seriously, we have no complaints. We are readers, so it would have been fun to have a few book recommendations based in Idaho. Why not ask your local librarians to provide a list and an invitation to tour the library — especially since there are no downtown book stores.

Great location in a shady, quiet neighborhood in easy walk to downtown. It was a bonus to find the beautiful public library and local history museum on the walk to downtown — Both were excellent introductions to our stay, so we added their brochures to the house info binder by the entranceway. We also were grateful for the walkable restaurant suggestions that were popular with locals! Thanks for offering such a nice get-away!

The only thing we had a problem with was the heat, the AC couldn’t keep up with the temp outside. Which really isn’t even the hosts fault!

The cottage was in a great location that was walkable to many bars and restaurants, was spacious, had two comfy beds, was well stocked with kitchenware and snacks, and the hosts were very super helpful and communicative with all aspects of recommendations and check-in process.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about this cottage. It was perfect in every way. It would have been nice to be able to have a pet, but that is totally understandable an not a game changer at all for us at all.

We enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved the cottage. Everything was neat and clean and very comfortable. We were there visiting family and attending a car show and cruise downtown with our hot rod. Parking was great, which is always a concern with car like ours. It was very convenient for that and only a couple of blocks away from the start. Although we never actually met our hosts they contacted us with all the information we needed including answering a few questions so worked out just fine. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice place to stay that is quiet and conveniently located.

There was nothing we didn't like. It is an older place remodeled and so the floors are uneven and could be an issue with an older person.

There was nothing that we didn’t like per se. The property is a small historic cottage — so by definition it is small. The layout of the living room and dining area are a bit challenged by the small footprint of the cottage, but they are cozy!

We loved the property location - so wonderful to be able to walk into downtown Coeur d’Alene. We loved the small touches - the welcome message from our host and the snacks/well-stocked kitchen made this property especially stand out. I very much appreciated the memory foam mattress in the main bedroom - such excellent support.

We struggled with rolling flooring...carpeted and kitchen areas, carpet bubbles/ trip hazards. The bathroom on other side of cottage. Therefore, meant all lights on when retired. Light switch plates difficult to navigate to in dark, bedroom door closed so no glaring light to keep us awake. I always bring some sort of night lights to be safe. However, some areas needing to be walked through, especially at night were not safe for walking for us. All in all we adjusted with it. Thankful no i falls, but a few tripping incidents while getting around. Window AC units a bit noisy. Closets are dark and room has overhead fan light not really helpful to view inside closet.

Great location, accommodating hosts. Learned about parking/ alleys to locate prop, advertised security usage for safety, clear information to read about cottage usage ( use of AC, checkout, local info, etc...),nicely decorated, comfy bed. One sign for uneven flooring in kitchen to WATCH YOUR STEP! Nice kitchen perks of goodies, laundry room, bathroom well supplied. We enjoy the CDA getaway.
