The hotel, including the lobby and our room, was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was nice, offering both a self-service omelet station and a waffle maker.

I truly was not impressed with the breakfast at all or the breakfast area. There was nothing much to choose from. No, cinnamon rolls or biscuits and gravy, anything like that, and the area is so small. There just was not enough room for people to even move around for the price. I was not pleased.

The staff was knowledgeable and and friendly, and helpful. The bed was comfortable. it would have been nicer if it was more affordable. But it was a nice hotel and I did enjoy my two days there. To bad it couldn't have been two or three months.

Room had a fridge, little stove, and even a dishwasher! Bit of a time travel — like a well-preserved hotel from the 80s. They use land lines, for instance.

I usually appreciate there being some nice outdoor sitting spot. I travel alone and often get takeout for dinner and it would be nice to be able to sit outside to eat. This hotel is on a strip of hotels with no real good places to sit outside however it’s in close proximity to several lovely parks. I asked the checkout staff in the morning for a recommendation on someplace. I should visit in Red Wing before I leave and she suggested specific park with a overlook over town and Mississippi river and it was a very nice place to visit so I’m glad she recommended that.

Comfortable room and great staff it would behoove them to tell people when they check in how the shower works cause it’s really quite different from what I’m used to. I had to find a YouTube video because I was too embarrassed to actually go and ask the front desk. The staff is very pleasant and breakfast was fine. The coffee was very hot. I appreciated that.

TV froze up a lot. Our son stayed in a different room and said his TV did the same. Coffee from downstairs wasn't good. The tiny bathroom vanity had no space to set down hair appliances or toiletries. A large mirror over the desk would make it useful as a dressing table. Thought room price was a bit high.

Good location, quiet room, comfortable bed & good pillows, all seemed very clean. The swing-out magnifying mirror in the bathroom was great to have. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

Confusing shower (finally saw instructions on the mirror after trying it for some time). In-room coffee maker was missing the tray that holds the coffee packet. Refrigerator compressor made noise all night.

I can’t think of anything that could be improved upon for the price point of this hotel.

Continental breakfast items such as toast, bagels, rolls were available along with juice and coffee. We only had coffee and milk, so I couldn’t speak to anything beyond that as to the quality of the items but the breakfast area was kept very neat and tidy during our stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the rooms were clean and tidy as well. Unlike a recent stay at a Super 8 in Wisconsin, each day the staff would make up our beds, empty trash and refresh towels, which were soft and comfortable to use unlike some I have encountered at other hotels. Parking was convenient and the hotel is within a five minute walking distance of numerous eating and drinking establishments that were quite enjoyable. We chose to drive into town to have breakfast and a specialty coffee at Mandy’s, which was quite enjoyable. The Inn isn’t a fancy, five star hotel/resort but it wasn’t intended to be such. It is a good, well maintained, clean and comfortable place to sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there in the future and I feel very comfortable recommending it to other travelers.

Front desk was not always attended. There were loud people talking outside and stomping up the stairs and slamming room doors late at night.

The door into the bathroom squeaked like crazy - opening and closing. There seemed to be a small leak on the floor (?) between the toilet and tub as we got wet socks there in the night.

Convenient location near restaurants, etc. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and had everything we needed.

The breakfast area was TINY, and we were waiting a long time for either the waffle iron or the omelette machine to open up. Other than that, breakfast was good.
