there were flies all over our room from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! we could not enjoy ourselves because of this! Super disappointing, because we are used to staying at very nice places and have no problem with paying $900 a night if the facility lines up with pricing, in this case it did not! I understand that it is directly on the water, but we have stayed at Ventana Inn, which is by the ocean and other nice locations and there have never been a fly problem as a matter of fact it was at dinner also at Nick Cove, so we could not enjoy our dinner or breakfast in the room the next morning, super disappointing

    flies!!!!

The Flying Fisherman cottage is large and well decorated. Loved the vibe! And the water view was excellent.

Breakfast consisted of coffee and one small croissant and muffin per person with only one fruit bowl to share. For the price, the breakfast should be more substantial.

Service was outstanding. Angel was on top of everything. The staff was always pleasant and easy to work with. We stayed for two nights in the Fly Fisherman's cottage. It was clean, roomy and very nicely designed. The bedding (sheets, pillows and mattress was wonderful. There was a minor issue with the plug for the bathtub not closing. It was remedied right away. The location on Tomales Bay was gorgeous.

The food in the restaurant was not as good as advertised. We were told that the highly rated chef left a few months ago. The meals that we had we good, but not outstanding.

Lovely Northern California spot on Tomales Bay. The room was lovely, with wood burning stove, leather sofa, comfy king size bed, and the best bathroom ever! Bathroom had heated tile floors, his and hers sinks, clawfoot tub, and a beautiful walk in shower. We stayed in "Fly Fisherman" cottage.

Nothing. Loved everything about the place.

Location was great for a getaway.

I had wanted to stay in one of cottages on the water and it fit perfectly into our plans. The total price for the cottage and the meals was close to $1000. I did not feel i had $1000 of value. For mid week and in the rainy season, the cottages are overpriced.

    Nice big room! Nicely appointed.

Breakfast was the same all three days. So much fresh fruit was available in the area and yet not served here. The same gluten free muffin and one regular muffin was served for 3 straight days. Even local bakery had more gluten free options. Make an effort to upgrade your continental breakfast for the price you charge. It is easy to have other gluten free and non gluten free muffins. Easy to find other simple recipes.
