Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe were supposed to be able to check in by 3:00. It was around 4:00 before anyone showed up at the front desk. We were given a room next to the doggie disposal can that was full and very smelly. After moving into out room I found that the sink didn’t have hot water and the faucet was very loose. I informed the front desk about the situation. They offered to clean out the doggie can but couldn’t do anything about the sink. We ended up moving from the king room to a double queen room on the back of the hotel. The next morning I went to get breakfast early and the mini fridge was mostly empty. I came back later and it still hadn’t been filled. The next day when

United StatesThe website is misleading because they don’t tell you the room is in another location. Also we had to walk up & down 5 flights of stairs each time to get to our room.
The location & view were great .

United StatesThe hotel has been updated, but still feels a little dated. The door opened directly to the outside, not an issue for us, but I will bet it is a cold stay in the winter. I feel it was a bit pricey, but that is what was available - so we took it. I lived in a major Colorado resort for more than a decade, so I understand the pricing of rooms and services - it comes with the territory, however, the price of the room could be more in line with the quality of the accommodations.
Nice hotel, conveniently located near downtown and several hiking trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, great coffee and a nice selection of breakfast items. Overall, we had a great time hiking and enjoying the Crested Butte area.

United StatesOutside was dated and needed attention. The bolt lock didn't work and we got locked in. Didn't have an emergency # to call. Ultimately was able to get the attention of a fellow traveler who got us help from the staff
Room was clean, roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient. Offered coffee , juice, pastries and beatable burritos and breakfast egg sandwiches

United StatesThe bathroom sink had no hot water, and I had to ask for room service. Not a deal-breaker, but just something to be aware of.
The location and staff cannot be beat. I chose this property specifically because they are dog-friendly, and they absolutely met my expectations there. If you have a friendly dog, this is the place to be - water bowls, treats, muddy paw towels, poop bags, and people who genuinely love dogs. Breakfast is complimentary, and they have something for everyone - coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, fruit, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and string cheese. The lobby is so cozy, perfect for working if you need to, and they have plenty of board games to play.

AustraliaBoth ovens of the community kitchen were dirty. A couple of steps to the house were loose. As soon as someone turned over in the bed, the whole bed was moving. I booked the hotel because it stated "breakfast included," but when we arrived, the host told us there would be no breakfast because of the season.
Our room was big and we had our own balcony and jacuzzi. The view was absolutely great

United StatesBlinds that were broken.
The only downfall is the room next door was aruguing at 4am, and obviously intoxicated, we were at the top of the stairs and you could hear every word. Windows were open, but woke us up for a while. We did get the last room in the place, but it was clean and comfy besides a few shady occupants.

United StatesThe hairdryer was broken and we were there for a wedding so we had to scramble to find one, along with an iron and board, from the front desk. The rooms were tight - we could barely set up an ironing board and function at the same time! The bed and pillows were quite dated and not the most comfortable, but we still really enjoyed our stay. There is some room for upgraded in-room amenities for sure!
We loved how dog friendly this property was and how easy it was to park and get into the room. The quaint feel of the lobby and considerate front desk staff were so welcoming!

United StatesWe book a hotel so we have access to the hotel amenities… a bar or place to buy drinks etc. Get up and get breakfast. Etc. Our room was in a home far away from the hotel we had to take a local taxi to get there! You could not get anything there! It was more like an Airbnb. The property should specify that before ppl book thinking they actually stay AT the Nordic Inn.

United StatesThe AC was an in-window unit, so we couldn't pull the blinds all the way down without obstructing the airflow from the unit. A little more sun snuck in during the morning than expected, but it wasn't a huge deal. Overall, it was very comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and communicative. There were pastries and cereal as part of the included breakfast which were great before hiking. The bed was comfortable and views were wonderful. This was a short drive to the cental part of Crested Butte, but it was nice being in a comfortable space a little further away from the crowds, and we were still able to walk to a restaurant and ice cream shop nearby.

United StatesThe air circulation is a challenge. I liked having a fan in the window, but you couldn't close the shade with the fan on so I couldn't keep the fan going when I slept or got ready for the day. The overhead fan helped a little but split shades would have helped. The hot tub was also too hot; I heard other people say that and thought, yeah it's a hot tub, but when I tried to use it, I thought it was too hot to even put my feet into.
The location was terrific and the staff were all very helpful. The rooms were basic with all needed amenities. I liked being able to get my own extra supplies when needed! The breakfast was decent, and the lobby is lovely. Given the fact that the property is not new, it was well kept and charming.
