How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The rooms are very basic, and the air conditioning is a bit noisy, but ok for a quick stop to rest after a long drive
The hotel is great for a short stay, with a convenient location just a short drive from Delray Beach and surrounding. It’s clean, has plenty of parking, and a lovely check-in lobby

Drapes need changed and ironing board and when showing because of way shower designed with 1 slider side water wet floor easily. Need heavier bed comforter. Shower pressure was good and bathroom clean.
For price was clean and renovated.

Although renovated, there is really no where to put your suitcases to open them except the bed (which I didn't want to dirty-there was no protection on the comforter) or just leave them on the floor and then open them (which is awkward). No where to hang your clothes, there is a rod above the desk, no hangers, so you could maybe hang only small tshirts if that, and if you brought hangers. The shower was brand new, but there was no where to put the soap or shampoos(no little crevices to put things, so you just had to leave them on the shower floor). Room was just a little too small to feel comfortable in, but for just 1 night we were glad it was clean and the area seemed safe. They need to work out some of these kinks.
The Inn is undergoing extensive remodeling...which is a good thing. However all of that can be an eyesore and turn people off. We were luckily given a renovated room which was very clean. Although we had no time to enjoy the pool, it was beautiful, even had cabanas and was open 24 hrs.

Room was clean but not completed. No shelf or towel bar in shower. The hair dryer almost fell off the wall.
Staff were pleasant and accomidating.

Some of the other buildings were being renovated and there was construction debris all over the place. Very untidy.
Checking in was seamless. and the room and bathroom was clean and had all we needed.

The most beautiful but it did not have a phone inside the room and for the price that you paid it should and the TV did not work properly I paid a $151 for the room right there for two bags of chips and two can of sodas I paid $10

The parking area was a little iffy. Late night noise. Loud music blasted from a car parked outside my rear window.
The room looked to be newly renovated.

I’ve booked the rooms for my stay 1 month before the trip. When I checked in, no one found my reservation, even showing it in the app. After that, they had to make a manual reservation and it cost us more than expected in the previous one. The attendants didn't seem to want to help.

The ant infestation was insane. They were crawling on every surface.
The draft was nice and willing to accommodate all of our requests such as cleans towels promptly. We checked out a day early due to the hurricane to check on our home and we were refunded the last day we didn’t use which I really appreciated.

It was hard to find using Booking.com website. You had to type in the name "Nova Resort" on Google map to find the hotel. If you use the address as posted on "Booking.com" it directs you to an open lot.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They are prompt in getting you into a room. Every time I stay they always have a smile with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

One of the staffs in the office with Brazilian descent was very rude.
It was closer to the beach and access to many of the locations were within 1 to 3 miles.
