United StatesWe didn't need to use our keys to enter the building. The access door in the front and back were never locked. Anyone could access the building that was not staying there in the building where our room was located. The office was being remodeled so another room was the office and confusing. The refrigerator didn't work at all.
Well, it was only 12 minutes from our family event. There was a nice Dixie Cafe we had dinner Saturday before our family event. And we had a great Mexican breakfast at a restaurant right next door in town near the Dixie Cafe.

United StatesThey did night housekeeping at 2 am. It was loud and woke me up. The staff just said they do that 24/7 because they have railroad workers coming in and out. I will just stay in Bryan when I’m in the area for work from now on so I can get some sleep. Also, there’s not anywhere decent around there to eat or do, so it’s probably for the best.

United StatesMy room wasn't ready when I arrived after check in time. Room key didn't work later that evening. Then a staff member tried to come in room the next morning around 9am checking to see the status of the room because it wasn't clarified in the system whether it was occupied or not. I was very disappointed in the overall stay. I was told it was mainly railroad workers staying there.

Had to drive 2 hours to Bastrop to find a room, finally checked in at 4:30am. Staff was unaffected by my dilemma. Staff had her small child at work, awake at 2am.

United StatesThis hotel has no free breakfast as stated in booking.com ,We were in town for a baseball tournament nearby so breakfast was kind of a big deal, but they do have a diner located in the front of their parking lot. ( But this was very much an unexpected expense ) which If i would have known this I would not have chosen this hotel.. Hopefully Booking.com corrects this False advertising on their site . This hotel caters to the railroad, so it's pretty much full of shift workers. The rooms were extremely over priced for this type of hotel. But at the end of the day the room was clean, beds comfortable, great AC and the customer service was excellent!
