The room was not taken care of. Someone installed a floor length mirror cockeyed and there was no coffee maker, while there was a microwave and refrigerator ( that didn’t keep things cool). The only thing that was clean in our room was the beds. The shower, floors and surfaces were not clean. We arrived well after check in. Our room wasn’t ready due to a dryer breakdown. Tabitha offered us a free meal from the diner and that was sweet. While I understand things happen, there were 4 of us and two wash cloths. The carpet had not been vacuumed. We found either dog treats or turds on the floor. We love the little diner next door. We’ve stayed here many years ago and can definitely see a big decline. Also, the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Will not stay here again, sadly.

The fact that there’s an ice machine just down the corridor from my room, but no ice bucket in the room. I had to ask the front desk clerk (which is in an adjacent building - inconvenient if stormy) for one.

The bed needs to be made with blankets and bed spread when a guest arrives. There was no coffee or tea in the room. There was only one blanket in the room I could not sleep because I was cold.

There was no staff in the actual hotel, they operated out of the diner. The rooms were very dated with furniture that was past its prime. There was a lot of moisture and humidity in the room causing the carpet to feel wet on my feet. The price was reasonable, but a bit high for what you got especially with no breakfast included.

AC was cold. Bed was comfy. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Staff was friendly and efficient. Had a 24 hour diner.

1. Very limited handicap parking. 2. Handicap room was quite a long distance from the handicap parking. All the employee areas and fitness room were BEFORE the handicap room. Why? 3. The room was not very clean. Thick, dark dust on the sprinklers, dirt and peanuts under the chair cushion. 4. We could not lower the temperature in the room. Since we were only staying one night, we lived with it.

The location and being close to our travel destination was the reason we chose this hotel.

I really didn’t like going into the Diner to check in and out of the Hotel. I definitely think it should have taken place within the Hotel.

It didn’t include a Continental Breakfast. Penny’s Diner right beside it was open 24/7 and we were able to order Breakfast which was good,

There was no coffee pot or coffee set up in the room nor an ice bucket. There was no luggage cart.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Penny's Diner next door had good food.

The room looked bare and sparse. No bedspread on the bed. A dirty blanket in the closet. A tiny tv. No bottled water available. Much nicer places in the area at less expensive prices are available

Rooms weren’t clean. There was a dirty towel left behind my door. Towels are switched every 3 days. No common area for guests to meet/hang out. Gym was not up to par, treadmill belt was folded in.

Dirty shower, hair in the drain, dead mice in the parking lot, room smelled very musty, the mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on & there was a wad of someone's hair in the microwave. The black washcloth is another story...

My only complaint is that the room wasn’t as clean as it could have been. There was left over fruit in the refrigerator and it needed to be wiped down. The bathroom could have stood a little better cleaning however I was still comfortable and made the adjustments without complaint .

The location was perfect, easy access to interstate. I loved the 24/7 Penny’s diner and the food was wonderful and reasonable in price. My room had everything I needed. There was adequate parking.

Noisy. It's right next to the interstate. Trucks getting on and off to go to the Love's truck stop nearby.

There was no elevator or luggage cart. We had to climb up 2 flights of stairs to get to our 2nd story room, making several trips back and forth to get all our luggage to the room, which was difficult for 2 people with bad backs. This should have been noted in the room description and we wouldn't have booked that room. Also, the check in desk was in the greasy spoon restaurant next to the hotel. I had to wait for the desk clerk to finish flipping burgers before I could get checked in.

The room was clean and up to date.
