Hotel rooms are dated, balcony view is lovely but there is a loud sound from the air conditioning unit when out there.

Some staff needs better training, upon my check in the older vallet park person was extremely rude and told us to move our car from the front entrance before we take our luggage out. Noticed some staff members not soo courteous trying to look away for no reason/ some tailgating us when coming back from the pool area, I told my husband to stop and let this guy go. For what to be in front of the piano and continues to talk on his phone. Receptionist from check in was very nice,and housekeepers did a decent job with cleaning and replacing toiletries. To be fair about Vallet Park staff,they were decent with the exception of this guy.

The location was good, short drive distance from supermarket and restaurants.

The bed ( in every room I’ve ever been in and this was our 6th year in a row at this property) are EXTREMELY OLD, WORN OUT & UNCOMFORTABLE! The bed & view is the most important aspect for me

Although it is ocean front and beach access, it seemed far from the public Ft. Lauderdale Beach.

Love the pool area and beach elevator. So beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Restaurants and shopping are close by. We booked 3 rooms that were on different floors and all had ocean view and balcony. Valet parking was great.

Valet driver, said he did not "see" me in the check in list, went to front desk, she too "didn't see my reservation" after searching my emails and bringing up the res, they said I confused them saying my last name - Ortega, when my maiden name is hyphenated before the Ortega. I asked for a bellman- Nope- they don't have them. So, I searched out a bellman's cart and I unloaded my invalid aunt and all our luggage etc myself, a valet attendant did help me take out the electric wheelchair, which I appreciated. Anyway, I was handed wrist bands and cards for the pool towels, which was very strange to me? I was turning 61 this week, not here for Spring Break 2023! 700 plus 20.00 a day for parking, for 3 nights. There's no room service and the restaurant never appeared to be open. Had 3 drinks from the pool bar- $46.00 ! As for the restaurant, I came down at 740 one morning, told they open at 8... asked the "Concierge" for a tea bag, "We don't offer tea bags"- I said- There's a coffee pot in the room, I just need a tea bag- I just needed one tea bag- and was told "Go to McDonalds" I swear- that was his answer. No value shown to guests. At checkout I asked the front desk for a bellman cart-because, as stated, no bell staff, and was told,- "They are by the elevators" they weren't, As I searched for it, I found one, behind them. Beds were made daily, towels not restocked and the broken toilet paper dispenser, not repaired, as a matter of fact, we actually found the toilet paper - on the floor after maid service, right in the center of the bathroom floor, how sanitary huh! I would not stay there again, you just don't feel valued as a guest there, at all.

I liked the view, when I was outside, there really isn't a great view from the room, I appreciated a lower floor as requested because my companion is handicapped, most of the car jockey's were nice and helpful, most, not all.

I was under the impression that there was a free breakfast with the reservation. The hotel restaurant is not somewhere that I would ever want to visit again. The telephone in the room did not work, and I asked to have it fixed twice and it was not done.

The property had a very nice store, it was pretty and seemed to be in a decent location. We were able to reach the most other places we wanted to go fairly quickly.

The hotel is very outdated. The room doors and light fixtures is rusted and wasn't appealing to even take pics.

The staff was very friendly. The valet guys in the day time was awesome. The ones in the evenings weren't too friendly. It was easy access to the beach.

Didn't like that we had to drive 20-30 mins for food and shopping. Nothing in walking distance. Didn't like that even if you park your own vehicle you still had to pay 20 a day parking. Food and drinks in the hotel were very expensive but good. Was hard to get enough towels from housekeeping.

Upon arrival had to have our room change the view we were given was the air conditioner units for an eight day stay. In the second room There was something in the carpet that caused our lower legs and feet to itch. Carpet felt damp to the bare feet we had to wear shoes at all times in the room and showers. Hopefully we didn't bring anything home. Gift shop lady was not welcoming. Stood over me while I looked around. She helped me change my mind about spending money in store. I felt pressured and profiled.

Hotel was nice in a great location on the beach next door the bar was great with friendly service. Pool and hot tub on the premises was great. Staff was very friendly and very helpful.

There was not sugar, cream napkins or cutlery despite having a coffee maker in the room. The rent of the loungers, cushions and umbrelas are a bit expensive.

upon checking in, I almost got charged again for the entire stay when being charged for the room damage deposit even though I paid through booking.com. luckily I looked at the pin pad before inserting my card. then on check out, the girl at the front desk actually charged me the full stay AGAIN. it did get promptly reversed, but I am glad I checked my bank account on a gut feeling before calling an Uber for the airport. i don’t understand how this happens and why in the world I would be charged at check out anyway. employee was not apologetic and acted as though I was being irrational but you would too if you got charged another 1.4k for nothing. i guess just writing this as a warning to everyone check your bank app before during and after hotel stays and check that pin pad before you insert a card!!

Location is perfect. The pool deck area is wonderful as well.
