breakfast at the restaurant. was not good. enjoyed the location and the view. We stayed two nights and the room was not cleaned after the first night. No clean towels. Did not replenish the coffee. The hallway was dirty.

The price is ridiculous due to the condition of the facility. A little paint and safe flooring would go a long way. There were massive gaps in the "wood" flooring in our room. Bordering on unsafe for bare feet. The exterior looks rundown and is in need of what I would consider inexpensive repairs. The Onsite restaurant is nothing more than an overpriced McDonalds. Do yourself a favor and GO to McDonalds or make your own Alfredo. Add jerky and it will be just like their "Ribeye" Alfredo.

The location is Prime for almost everything.

Staff at restaurant brought the wrong bill to our table. My wife signed it, but then the waiter brought the correct bill and wanted her to sign that one also. My wife insisted a refund be issued before she signed the second one. The waiter argued that he couldn't do that. Only after a front office person interceded was the refund issued. It was not a pleasant scene.

It was unclean in the room. Napkins were under the bed, some stains on the linens and bed cover. The fridge wasn’t washed at all, someone before us spilled the wine or the juice and it was all red and sticky inside. Since I was alone with 2 kids I didn’t have a chance to go the reception, just wiped it inside.

The location is great and we were able to check in a little bit earlier. Easy access to the beach. Swimming pool and sauna.

The rooms were basic, they charge for towels, the facilities could have been so much more. There was no maid service and when I asked for clean towels they. punted how many I gave back and gave me the exact same in new. I had to gather my towels in a trash bag and bring to them.

For my purposes everything was good. It being an older building certain smells are to be expected. Noticed it but not a complaint.

The location was awesome. Right on the beach. View of the lighthouse. A variety of restaurants close by. Pool table in the lobby, fun. Sea Quake Brewery within walking distance, good food and excellent beer.

When we walked around the Lodge, we discovered that every ground floor room had window screens that were damaged (looking like a break in attempt), and at one point, an exterior exit door was defaulted NOT to lock on closing. We reported that, and the management had it fixed immediately. In general the property seemed somewhat run down. The restaurant had a fantastic view, but we just couldn't justify eating there with the prices.

It truly is "Oceanfront" property, though many rooms like ours didn't have much of a view. Although much of the beach area is rocky, there is a large park and several sandy beach areas very nearby with plenty of parking, but easily within walking distance. A historical lighthouse is nearby and may be visited at low tide. We also discovered Northcoast Marine Mammal Center, a marine mammal rescue facility, within walking distance, and visited that several times. There are plenty of shops and restaurants a short drive away as well.

My original room was nice but had hairs on the sheets. The hotel upgraded us but the room hadn't been cleaned yet. We were upgraded a third time and was very nice except we didn't have towels. At breakfast, a family member of the owner started an arguement with staff for all to hear, extremely unprofessional by the family member who could divorce himself from customers from hearing and observing.

I liked the room with balcony, the view was amazing and the pool was nice but very cold. Very happy for staff who upgraded my family and I and treating us like family. Thank you!
