Definitely a fan in the bathroom, as everything, including my personal items were wet with moisture. the floor was even wet with moisture. The little window being opened in the bathroom doesn't help much.

The room was very clean, the screen door on the sliding glass door did not work well, it kept coming off the trac, and the screen needs to be replaced. The hot tub was out of service. The bathroom has no fan, so when you take a shower, it creates so much moisture that there is a huge potential for mold, everything in the bathroom was dripping with moisture. The new renovations are absolutely beautiful in the room we stayed in. the floor is gorgeous!! Refrigerator needs to be replaced, as it is rusting and the paint is chipping off. The bed was extremely comfortable. The private deck was very comfortable, although the railings on the deck either need to be replaced or painted, the owners did come and speak with us and stated that the new decking had just been replaced that week, and they hadn't had a chance to finish it before we got there. The pool was crystal clear, we did not use it, as the weather was a little too cool to swim. Shirley at the front desk was very friendly to us, but would not let my grandson, who was staying at the adjacent motel next door go feel how warm the water was in the pool. All in all, we had a great stay!

The person/persons above me in room 23 were, consistantly, noisy! It sounded like they were picking up furniture and slamming it to the floor and, continuously stumping past 12:00 the night!

What breakfast? There was great coffee outsidethe office, but no breakfast!!!

Dated. Power strip for microwave other outlets only worked part of the time. Too loose in the outlet. Bed were comfortable, but looked portable without box springs.

The bathroom was way too small we had to sit diagonal on the toilet because our knees hit the vanity. Also the room should have a couch instead of 2 small chairs

What we didn't like was the smell in the room. The second we entered the room, it stung us immediately. It might have been the smell of chemicals, the paint that got heated in the sun, the old cigarette smell and old mold altogether. I opened the windows and we went for a walk on the beach. Coming back in 30min I could still smell it. It didn't go away during the night. The next morning was better, you could barely smell it, but it was the time for yhe check-out. I should have asked the reception to change the room immediately, but we had a late check-in were too tired.

It was our first stay in a seaside motel. The location is excellent, that is why we chose it. Our room was quite small, the bathroom and the shower cabin were very small. The room looked renovated and clean - the floors, furniture, appliances, linens, sink and the toilet. Outside the reception they have complimentary coffee for the guests, which is a very nice addition. The beds and the pillows were on the comfortable side.

Right on the beach, near everything. Barely a 5min walk to the pier and the rides. There is fresh coffee offered in the morning. You can walk next door (200yards) for grab and go breakfast sandwiches or walk near the pier for full breakfast. Dulce Crema Cafe has great specialty coffees, full breakfast, fruits etc. Delicious bagel/bakery up Old Olchard St (Beach Bagel) They also offer full breakfast. Both places have tables, although limited space.

A/C in room made a lot of noise

The rooms were updated with newer vinyl floors (not carpeted), newer beds w/ extra blankets, private bath & shower, fridge w/ freezer, microwave, and K-Cup coffee machine (hot coffee always available at the main office), a work desk, and free Wi-Fi which was nice since cell service was spotty (Verizon). Location to beach (parking lot access) was excellent and beach location was close to pier but far enough away to not be overcrowded. Ice machine to fill coolers for beach was a plus, and having a hose/shower to rinse off after the beach made not tracking in sand to the room a nice thing to have. If you did track in sand, a broom and dustpan were included in each room. While we didn't use the pool, it was heated and was 3-9-ft deep. A short 5-10 min walk to all OOB attractions was very convenient as we didn't have to pay to park anywhere, and just far enough away to not hear the play land rides. We would absolutely visit this motel again in the future!
