Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOur room was very small. It was the last one available at the time. I would book a larger room next time.
Ngoc and Julia were very hospitable and customer-service oriented. The breakfasts were amazing – delicious! Also, it was very clean. Location worked out perfectly.

United StatesWiFi was a bit spotty which isn't a big deal, but if you're planning to remote work from the property it's something to be aware of. My room was the two twin bed room. There wasn't much room to hang my things up, but the bed was comfortable and I slept quite well here with the darkness and peaceful surroundings.
I loved my stay here. This is such a beautiful property in the perfect location. The property is quiet and peaceful, nestled in nature, yet just a few minutes' drive to downtown Taos. Spacious and relaxing common areas are available 24/7, and they provide a guest fridge and blankets. Ngoc and Julia are incredible hosts and property managers and cook up the most AMAZING breakfasts every day. The food is seriously so good. I felt very welcomed and taken care of here, and Ngoc and Julia were incredibly welcoming to my pup Fred, too. Anything you need you can text them and ask. Can't wait to come back - you will love your stay here!

United StatesThe location is a fairly close to town, but not really walking distance. Definitely need a car.
Rooms, dining area and grounds beautifully decorated. A lovely place with lots of style. Breakfast was very good, quiche and muffin one morning, souffle and sausage the next; a "starter" of a small bowl of fresh fruit, good yogurt and house granola. Good coffee. Very friendly hostess. Dogs welcome!

United StatesWe had high hopes and lowered expectations after a negative experience at a different place in El Prado the night before so we were very pleasantly surprised to find this one was way beyond better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would go back. There was one thing we didn't realize: no TV in our room. It may state that on the website, but we were without hot water & therefore no showers after a long day of skiing. We were searching for new vacation lodging around midnight that same night so TV was not a priority so I didn't even notice whether or not that's included in the amenities possibly in another room or suite when I booked it. We played Pandora music and survived, but if you MUST have TV, make sure your room has one. There is a little library available in the common room and I believe I spotted some games so there are alternatives to TV. Therefore.... We really have no complaints. :-)
It's on a dead-end road with a nice open area behind the property which was great for our two Labs. It was also a great place for sunset photos! It was just a pleasant area all around. I had spoken to Sara on the phone prior to our arrival and she met us when we got there. She was just as friendly in person as she was on the phone. We met Bob later on and he was just as gracious a host throughout our entire stay. A tasty breakfast was served every morning. The common room has books & games. There are several inviting common areas outside as well. They were understanding when our 10yo yellow Lab Piggy got sick in the bed (ugh). I tried to rinse out the bed cover; I managed to make it worse and created even more laundry for them (double ugh). They were easy to reach when we needed extra towels and prompt with their delivery. The room itself was clean, well-kept and quiet. The water and room temperatures were easy to regulate (this mattered A LOT after the night we'd just spent elsewhere). We 100% recommend staying here!

United StatesThe property location was not walking distance to the historic Taos town square but we knew that prior to booking.
Lovely historic property that has been lovingly restored with attention to detail. The property is managed by the owners who live on site. Breakfasts are hearty with juice, coffee, granola followed by a hot egg entree. We hope to return again next year.

United StatesWe ate breakfast 2 out of the three mornings we were there. We had pretty much the same breakfast both mornings. The rooms are cozy but could use some updating and a good deep clean. The shower needs to be updated.
This B&B was very close to the downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. The owners were actually present and fixed breakfast our first morning. Enjoyed a great conversation with the owners. The dining area was very clean.
