The room I stayed in (#3) did have a musty odor. Especially in the morning.

Its not the cleanest, ours didnt have tv in room. The carpet and the chairs need a good cleaning. The people were nice and helpful

It does not accommodate the elderly! I had to climb up on a bunk bed to get in bed. There are no bathrooms in the rooms. The room was too small with no chairs to sit on

had to ealk out of room to use bathroom, outside door did not close properly which raised security concerns. the overall look of the place caused me to drive home instead of spending the night. also, a $45 cleaning fee. do i get reimbursed that since i didnt actualluly stay?

Did not get the room we reserved, very small rooms, no desk or night stand, when it rained it flooded the room and because there was nowhere to put our cloths they got soaked. Room smelled very musty. I worry about mold.

A room that didn’t smell. A shorter code number to get into your room. Less weird people that live there all the time Gravel parking lot? Really ? Really? I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER

I did not eat breakfast. I left as soon as I could. This a weird place. I have that at motels and hotels around the nation. Huge cities and small towns. This by far the strangest place I’ve ever stayed at. It stunk Nice staff. I feel sorry for them. Living there year round. Shish! I barely made it one night

Our room stunk so bad ( room #5 was so bad that upon entering we almost vomited) It stunk of dog feces or sweat or a mixture. It was so bad that we could not stay there and had to leave to find other accommodations.

The beds were awful. We have three people with back issues. The beds are really meant for teenagers not adults. Also the towels were teeny and not luxurious at all. lol. A slightly thicker, softer, and larger towel would be wayyyy nicer. I also felt a little weird as 75% of the people staying there actually lived there. So the vibe was a bit different.

Clean and very friendly people. All kitchen utensils and use of kitchen allowed. Huge dining table to play games. Also mini fridge in each room.

My only minor gripe is that people were letting their dogs do their business right outside the back door and not cleaning up after them. A doggy doo station would be very helpful.

The Old Texas Bunkhouse was exceptionally clean! The managing couple was amazingly friendly and helpful. This place has a homey feel. We went due to the power being out at home, but we would definitely go back. Ten out of ten for sure!

The room had an awful smell, there was no tv in the room, on the booking.com listing it shows tv in the room. The whole place had an awful smell of backed up sewage. I cut my stay short and left a day early. The lady running the facility was nice.

I paid for a "triple room" that described 2 beds with a coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave. We open the door to a tiny room that 1 bed barely fit into, and there is a metal rack at the end with a fridge. The description was misleading. I understood the shared bathrooms (everyone in the building shares the bathrooms) Me and my daughter left and I sent a message that I needed to cancel the whole thing. I understand it says no refunds, but there should be exceptions to every rule. There wasn't even room for a TV. We had to go somewhere else. I messaged the owner and customer service, and I've had zero response. I will never attempt to stay there again, that is certain.
