Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Facilities and furniture could use some updating, but for the price, it was clean and comfortable for our one-night stay.

This is an older property, family owned, and is showing its age. You can see that they are trying to keep things updated, but the little things, like scratches all over the room bathroom doors and water damage at the bottom; older carpeting, while serviceable, looks worn and patterns/colors are definitely outdated; and sinks/tubs that are water and rust stained with age. It's the little things, cosmetically that show. On the "breakfast side", lots of carbs and sugars, but no protein except for instant oatmeal. The sign says "continental" breakfast, but waffles or biscuits and gravy as the only "hot entree"...oh, and the milk was still in the store gallon container...even decanting it would have added a little class. I wouldn't classify these items as what I didn't like, but just suggesting some things that could use a little "sprucing" up for an old girl. PS, I work in construction and spent many years in facilities maintenance fields as a manager and as a consultant, so I notice a lot of the little things. Stay was great...not complaining about that.
Great greeting on check in with lots of details. Front desk person was "bubbly" and very informative when we asked about where to eat, etc. Room was very comfortable, clean and location is convenient. Room was at the end of the hall so it was quiet. Great restaurant right across the parking lot, and sandwich shop two doors down if you want lighter fare. Right off the main road and a couple blocks from gas and convenience stores. In spite of my comments below, I would recommend Omak Inn to anyone who just needs a dependable, comfortable and economical place to stay for a night or a week.

Clean, comfortable, convenient and friendly! Just half an hour to Loup Loup ski area, and also right next to groceries, gas, and restaurants, Omak Inn was the perfect home base for our winter family trip. The kids especially loved the pool and waffles at breakfast, and the hot tub was the perfect place to warm up after a chilly day on the slopes. We also got some friendly food recs when we checked in, making us feel very welcome.

left and in 1 hour realized that we had forgotten our personal pillows there called them and we had arranged for our nephew to go pick them up and no one knew anything about it. called the next day talk to One staff member who said that he would personally go and check all of the maids cards and the laundry room and give me a call back I will call tomorrow to see what the outcome was. they should have a better policy in place for when people leave things behind by accident.
