The Oranch House was one of the favorite places that we stayed during a two week journey through Utah and Arizona. The buildings, grounds, and western decor are absolutely beautiful. That coupled with the host’s kindness and thoughtful touches made this one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It is conveniently located within the city limits of the Kanab, which has plenty of nice restaurants, shops, and other amenities. The location is also centrally located between Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Grand Staircase/Escalante NM, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and many other parks and national monuments. (My wife usually thinks my jokes are corny, but when I asked “Oranch you glad we stayed here?” her answer was a resounding YES!!!)

Quiet location. Well-maintained, unique property with many artistic touches. Chickens and turkeys in a large enclosure were fun to visit. Close to a fabulous hiking trail with few other visitors. Kitchen was well stocked. Hosts were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Nothing at all.

Even though we arrived rather late, Helene was very accommodating and met us to provide the information and door codes. This was more of an Air B&B type of setup than a hotel. The room is an apportioned off part of their house, but there's plenty of privacy. Both the exterior of the house and interior of the room have a lot of character and unique decorations. Overall, we thought the stay was excellent and we'd stay here again.

It was different from anything I’ve seen before, a small camping trailer converted to a mini home. Despite it’s overall size it had everything you need and was comfortable too.

Wonderful hosts, we were warmly welcomed and they provided unexpected welcome and good-bye snacks. They are very knowledgeable about the area and give great insider advice to outdoor adventures. The studio is original and very well equipped, also for longer stays. We forgot a jacket and they promptly mailed it to us free of charge!

They have a great "rainfall" shower-head for the shower. I prefer a hand-shower, but I understand why they did what they did with the decor and that shower probably suits the ambiance better. So even my petty dislike might be a homerun for someone else!

Stand aside all others...I have found the SUPERHOST! Helen has thought of EVERYTHING and provides anything you would want or need...they even gave me muffins for the road! She recommended their studio to use and she was spot on! This place was like someone's apartment (flat)! Everything was maculate and greatly staged, the decor was great! Location was great out in the country, I was on my way to the Grand Canyon in moments! Can't say enough about this place or my supreme host, Helen! She deserves a medal!!!

We had the "wilderness" which is a converted RV in the backyard, with a big deck to enjoy the sun. The inside is wonderfully organized: it was small for a family of 4, but certainly manageable, thanks to all the details taken care of by the owners. The heating worked well despite the cold temperature outside. Helen and Heinz welcomed us despite a very last-minute reservation and made us feel at home. Highly recommended if you want something original. We'll certainly come back if we are in the area again,

They truly have thought of everything. I did need to request a different type of pillow, but that was addressed immediately. Again, if there is something you need, they are very responsive.

The unit is very convenient if you do not want to spend time and money eating out at restaurants. The hosts have thought of everything you may need to cook and reheat food - utensils, bowls, cookware, seasonings. There is even a BBQ available. The deck is a great place to chill with a refreshing drink after a long day of exploring. The hosts are available for anything you may need that they haven't thought of already.

The internet is a bit spotty at times, especially in the back room. It would be nice to have a small TV to relax after a long day of exploring, but definitely not a deal breaker. I’d probably just bring my laptop next time.

Cute and cozy accommodations, just 5 minutes from downtown Kanab. It had everything we needed, including a good size fridge and freezer, fans, heater and space heater for the unusually cold winter weather (which worked almost too well, haha), and a small, but fully functional bathroom, and two beds for my kiddo and me. There were even snacks, bottled water, spices, tea and a few small condiments. Super friendly and helpful hosts! They even showed us their backyard hens and baby turkey, so fun! I’d definitely stay here again.

I loved all the little details in the accommodation design and style. Also the natural products (honey, and the peach jam) were incredibly good. sadly we came in late for the checking but the host made us feel really welcomed

Studio was beautiful with wonderful details, absolutely clean and a well equipped kitchen. We particularly loved the home cinema and the complimentary welcome snacks. Also big fans of the large beautiful garden with hammocks where we had breakfast and dinner. Heinz was very welcoming and engaged and helped us plan our day-trips and recommended us some truly hidden gems.

I would have loved a little waffle maker and some batter instead of the toast and marmalade.

We stayed in the Wilderness camper. It was great! My son and I stayed here while exploring the Utah 5 and Grand Canyon, the location was perfect! Short scenic trip to the North Rim and only 3 hours from the South Rim along one of the most beautiful drives you'll ever experience.
