Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

One of the Hop on Hop off bus ride stops is by the hotel which was handy. The staff were ok. Not super welcoming but they were efficient. We will be staying there again at the end of our visit to the States.

Lovely peaceful hotel between Union Square and Chinatown in walking distance to a lot of sights and near public transportation. My room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The bathroom was really nice with a good shower. The staff were always very friendly. Very good value for money, as there were no additional resort fees etc.

I really liked the location of the hotel — it was conveniently close to cable car and bus stations, which made getting around easy. The room was very clean, quiet, and perfectly sized for a two-night stay for two people. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too. Overall, a peaceful and pleasant stay - I’d definitely consider staying here again!

SingaporeThe room was nice and spacious. Had a nice quiet stay while there. The hot water came quickly which is quite rare in hotels. Purified water (shared dispenser) was also provided, which was a pleasant surprise (and also delicious). The furniture/room/lobby were nicely refurbished, and I could only tell that the hotel has been around based on the elevator design. The hotel was also very convenient (near Montgomery station, walkable to Powell/Union Square, Embarcadero), and right before the steep hills (Chinatown).

United StatesThe one thing that I didn't love was that I got locked out of my room twice, both times in my pajamas while going to the 7th floor to get water. I was told that the key cards are sensitive so I tried to make sure they weren't touching any credit cards, but they would still not work, which was not the best experience.
The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean! I also appreciated the free upgrade. Additionally, the staff was super friendly and was always available if I had questions, opened the door when I left, greeted me, etc.
