On the site, it was stated "pay at the property" so we planned to do that. We were unaware a deposit was required prior to arrival. Received a couple of emails to that effect but when I called the office regarding the matter I was told it was pre authorizing. There really are no services to buy once you're in the room, no room service, no movies, no breakfast. That's fine, we don't need that stuff. Why such a fuss when checking in and not wanting to use a credit card? That was resolved, no hard feelings but it was confusing. We were visiting our daughter and these visits will be fairly regular. We would like to know this is a good choice to use again.

The room was clean, very small but clean. Fairly comfortable. The bathroom shows age but, again, spotless. The tv initially gave us trouble and since I need background noise to sleep, it was an issue. There was an awful smell, apparently from something left behind by another visitor somewhere outside the room. Both issues resolved quickly. The inn is right outside Oswego, easy to get to everything in a few minutes.

The room was very musty, and there was an overlaying layer of air freshener to cover it up. My allergies were on fire.

This is the perfect little hotel for someone traveling in a rural area. It is not to be compared to the commercialized, large chain hotels. For the person who wants something clean, easy to get to, with access to the areas fun stuff (i.e. Ren Faire, college visits, fishing derbies, etc.) https://www.oswegony.org/explore/community-events-calendar, this is the place to stay.

Heat could have worked better but overall was quite nice.

Loved the coffee pot and coffee in the rooms, and the room keys were actual keys. A very quaint touch, much appreciated.

The window only had light drapes. If it was sunny the room would probably be very bright in the morning.

The room was large with a microwave and refrigerator which came in handy for the extra items we bought at the farmer's market. There was a coffee maker in the room which we used twice a day. We were fortunate to have a shower in the room. Other rooms only have a tub. The room was very quiet, even though it looked as if all the rooms were occupied. It was close to SUNY Oswego with lots of stores and eating establishments along the way.

The owner was very nice. Told us where the places were to eat. No breakfast was provided but I was aware of this. This a nice motel in a quiet area. I would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone. It is an older motel but not run down in the least. I actually prefer this to the big chain hotels. I don't want to pay a lot of money to have a great updated room. All I want is a clean bed and clean motel room and that is what I got. I really liked the cat that greeted us at the door of our motel room. He/she was very friendly. I don't know if the cat belonged to the owner.

The only problem with the rooms were the beds. The mattresses were a little on the hard side for some and the pillows were hard for all.

We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. It was conveniently located near the Renaissance Festival, which was why we were in the area. Also close by to shopping. There was a beach not too far as well. There also seemed to be a car on the property that my kids enjoyed.

The location is on a main road, so there was traffic noise. At least it wasn't too bad during the night. This place has been around awhile, but some things have been updated.

I liked that there was a mini kitchen so we could eat and store food. It was nice that the room was a little larger than a standard room. We had a small table and two chairs.

The rooms smelled like someone’s house. Which might be comforting to some but for me I’d prefer it to smell like nothing or like freshness.

The location and size of the room was nice. The value for the price was good. Robert was very kind and friendly. The bed was a bit hard for my preference.
