WiFi was consistently choppy

Suite was clean despite limited towels and amenities. One towel per person is NOT enough. Luckily, I brought extra.

POOR communication with resort. Many UNANSWERED emails sent. Original request for OCEANFRONT room was approved but upon arrival, was NOT given the OCEANFRONT room reserved. Resort REFUSED to give me a refund or change my room in spite of their INCOMPETENCY with my reservation and were RUDE.

Very convenient clean and perfect location

I loved looking out over the dunes/water every morning and every night. It was a spectacular location. A one minute walk to the beach—maybe—is just the chef’s kiss. Everyday 6-7 hours on the beach! Kids jumping and boogie boarding on the waves. I loved the convenience—close to lots of different restaurants and fun things to do! Kill Devil Grill was busy and loud, but we all agreed out of the ten meals we ate out that was our favorite. I loved that I made great family memories here—so much so that I teared up when we had to leave. Kids love the pool. Great for them. Helpful Hints: Driving? Bring chairs and umbrella. Not? You can rent umbrella, two chairs for week for like 180 (as of today) and they will set them up and take them down. We bought two chairs and umbrella for 150.00, but we had to bring down/take back. And then we had to leave them because we were flying. If you aren’t from here, know what the beach flags mean so you can stay safe.

It’s not that I didn’t like it. It was just a bit more dated than I had expected. The online photos fooled me a bit. Haha! The place has been used and enjoyed and used and enjoyed. The elevators were broken on our visit. Not a big deal for us but I know some guests were a bit overwhelmed. Almost everyone was really nice particularly the guy with white hair. He was so kind. The woman running the front desk upon checkout on Sunday morning was RUDE!!!!!!! She could absolutely benefit from training on how to deal with people, even if she’s hungover or in a bad mood. Yikes. After having so many great conversations with staff we won’t let it bother us, but man not a great way to end our vacation there. If I had to stay across the street, I would not stay at the facility. But that’s just me.

The location was nice, the property itself was a little worn, outdated and not clean. It was also extremely busy.

The elevator did not work the whole time we were there and only one TV worked while we were there. We did get a phone call on it but the way she talked it would been fixed in the middle of the week.

The facility was older but it was clean, the only saving grace

The advertisement showed an oceanfront property with a nice pathway, roadway to the beach. So excited cause the pathway looked as if the beach was handicap accessible. Right after booking (non refundable), discovered we were street view. OK but... Get there, discover we are actually in totally different looking buildings across the road from the beach. Not only were we street view, we couldn't even hear the water. Staff was rude. We had 2 towels in 2 br apartment, called for more. At first we were told housekeeping was gone for the day but they would transfer and we could leave Message. We got lucky one guy was still there, said he would bring up. He did, 3 more towels. We said 4 of us were going to be there for four days. They only give one towel per person up to max occupancy of the room. We could have 1 towel exchange during our visit. Our day was Wednesday before leaving on Thursday morning. Normally, this wouldn't be issue but these apartments had no washer or dryer. They did have complimentary laundry room. Who wants to go spend laundry mat time while on vacation. The whole atmosphere was just negative.

Would have preferred private porch/balcony . Definitely a set up for extroverts, and I'm an introvert. Windows people walked by--- gaaahhh. Understand about the lightning strike, but it was hard having no elevator for my disabled husband. TV and Keurig coffeemaker also didn't work

Great amenities in the room and on grounds! Close to beach. Spacious apartments.

Wifi never worked for us. Advertised a bit closer to the beach than it was.

It’s always hard booking a place to stay online, but we were pleasantly surprised and happy with the accommodations.

I thought I booked a room with two beds, however the pull out sofa was actually pretty comfortable.
