Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesSingle room 5 was smaller than I expected, and also up a flight of stairs, and I had a lot of little gnats in the room, (though I didn't see them elsewhere in the house) and a big spider. Washer dryer could really use a bill changer or square, and I couldn't tell how much it was supposed to cost so I didn't end up being able to use them as I had hoped to. House is also directly under the flight path so you will hear the planes in the early morning and late at night. I didn't use the kitchen, but while the fridges were great, the pantry storage allotment was almost entirely out of reach, and the tea and coffee station was empty besides decaf. I stayed for 4 days, but was given only one washcloth, two towels and one roll of TP. It would be nice to have had a welcome card on the desk that would explain the house features (like what to do when you run out of TP, how much the washer and dryer are and that they take quarters only, etc.), since there wasn't anyone on site, and I was coming in pretty late each evening.
The house was clean, comfortable and inviting. Price of the room was reasonable for an event weekend. Bed was comfortable, you could even raise the head. And the room had thoughtful amenities (like a laundry hamper in the wardrobe). The remote control ceiling fan kept the room comfortable for my entire stay.

SwitzerlandI was assigned the room on the bottom floor, directly next to the entrance. Unfortunately, the room was not well insulated from noise. I was woken up every morning around 5:30 a.m. by people staying in the rooms ahead of mine, who appeared to be doing some kind of early morning exercise or sports. Additionally, traffic noise from outside was quite noticeable, and I could also hear people returning late at night, which disrupted my sleep.
A definite plus was the private bathroom inside the room, very appreciated. Also, the location is quite practical, with a bus stop just 5 minutes’ walk from the house, making it easy to get around San Diego. The neighbourhood itself isn’t very lively, one need to take a bus or drive to reach areas with restaurants and coffee shops. Check in and check out were very straightforward. I didn't use the common areas (kitchen, living room ...), I can't comment on those.

Austin
United StatesIt was extremely cold air wise. And there was no cold water, if you turn on the cold water, either sink or shower it comes out scalding hot to the point of burning you.
It was nice and private even though others were there too. Great view of the city.

United StatesThe water temperature was all over the place. Our sink had either hot or hotter. And the shower would get hotter the longer you stayed in there. You had to take extremely fast showers or else you will get scalding hot water.
We both enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen where we could store our groceries in the pantry or the fridge in our designated spot. We also enjoyed the fact that we could do our laundry there for free.

United StatesThey gave several modes to contact them, but no one responded to my questions (turns out the answer was no, but I had to figure that out myself in advance) Highly recommend getting to know bus route 2 rather than walking to the metro. Grab a Pronto card before you go up. Since it is a house in a residential neighborhood, there are steep hills around it and stairs, so may not be suitable for people who need accommodations.
This is a converted house in a nice residential neighborhood. The room is small but had a private bathroom. It had nice windows for good natural light. Loved the ceiling fan. The neighborhood is walkable to food and public transport. Door codes were sent twice, easy contactless check in and out. Excellent for people who just need a place to stash their bags, clean up and sleep. There is a kitchen and other amenities but I didn't utilize them fully, someone definitely liked the coffee. This is the first hotel alternative I have booked through booking.com that I would stay at again. I would give other Outsite locations a chance as well.

MexicoMy specific room has its own bathroom but it’s across the hall (unlike the other rooms which have private bathrooms) so I just had to walk past the other rooms, quietly. Don’t mind at all, but in case you do.
Great location in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown and main attractions. Great wi-fi and amenities with clean and simple rooms. Each room has a keypad lock that automatically locks after a certain amount of time. The house is set up for people living the remote/WFH life. Houseguests were super respectful people with similar lifestyles. Prompt and friendly response from management. Highly recommend!

United KingdomI would not recommend this property based on my stay. From the moment I arrived, I encountered serious issues that were never resolved. The air conditioning system cannot be turned off or controlled by room, which is not mentioned anywhere in the listing. This led to disrupted sleep every night and ongoing sinus irritation, especially since the AC shuts off and restarts randomly in the early hours (e.g., 3 AM). I flagged this on day one, and nothing meaningful was done. The suggestion to "double up on blankets" completely missed the point — it didn’t fix the root problem, and it certainly didn’t help my sinuses. There are also multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues: Rust in the bathroom Dust-filled vent Uneven flooring (trip hazard) Poor water drainage in the bathroom To make matters worse, this stay coincided with a national conference, so changing accommodations wasn’t possible. Instead of meaningful support. There is also no way to call or speak to anyone directly, which made escalation impossible. The property might have charm, but it lacks basic comfort, transparency, and accountability. I strongly urge Booking.com to review this listing for misleading information and guest support standards.

United StatesThe Ac was a little too cool. We were freezing a lot. And the shower isn't running nicely which is pretty annoying.
I liked how clean the room was and the living space together with the other people. It was really easy to get in and out. The bed was comfortable and the room looked cute. We had shampoo and body wash and towels and nice windows
