The bed was comfortable but far too warm, and the A/C unit was so loud I couldn't leave it on during the night. Google Maps said free breakfast was included. It is not. My mistake, the booking.com listing does not mention free breakfast. I reported it on Google Maps. It is a pity there is no fridge in the room. Guests can use the kitchen fridge.

The location is amazing. Right in the downtown area and 10 minutes walking from the boardwalk. The room was spacious, clean, and I loved the walk-in shower. Having the automated coffee machine in the lobby 24/7 is great for an early riser. Parking on the lot nextdoor was included.

Some of the other reviews mention this, but noise really carries through the courtyard and into the rooms. We could hear every word of a Zoom call that was taken in the courtyard at 7am, which was not ideal. It would be great for the hotel to provide ear plugs or kindly suggests that guests to take calls inside the lobby/cafe areas, especially so early in the morning.

The location is excellent -- it's walking distance to downtown and a trail that leads to the Boardwalk. The room was clean and spacious and the king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. Self-parking is also available for an additional charge and very close to the hotel.

Looking for a dip in a pool on a hot day. Guess I coulda just gone to the beach.

10min walk to Santa Cruz Pier and beaches. Check out the sea lions barking and jostling for a space on the piers pickings. 5 mins to downtown and 3 mins to the Baglery. Super comfortable bed and nice touches in the room like a LED fireplace/ heater.

Well, it's Santa Cruz. A lot of homeless, people with personality challenges. Particularly on Paciific Avenue. I wasn't surprised. I lived there forr 50 years.

Staff leaves premises around 5 PM in the evening. Basically, you're on your own If you need anything. Also, I didn't like the fact that the room did not come with a fridge.

A fellow guest said there used to be breakfast. That would be nice! Also please be up front about adding extra $ for parking — that was a surprise on my bill. Otherwise great value! Just wished that was more transparent.

The walls are paper thin. I thought someone was in my room when I was in the bathroom. The voices from an adjacent room sounded like they were right next to me.

Such an adorable spot. Independently owned and operated and everything has a personal touch. Very accommodating to guest requests and they make it convenient for self check-in.

If you are looking for a simple, quiet room in a quaint building, this is it. With a big bathroom. It is also in a quiet and original part of Santa Cruz, easy to walk places and get breakfast! Sal is great who takes some management and Tina as well. The lockbox check in is super easy too

We stayed one night while helping get the kid home from UC Santa Cruz. Blue Pacific Inn was very nice with a clean room and really comfortable bed, and a ceiling fan for air circulation. Slept well. Self check-in directions were easy and accurate. Parking was convenient, only a few feet from the front of the hotel. There were chocolate chip cookies waiting in the lobby for us, (late check in), it was a nice touch.

To be honest...everything was amazing!

Very spacious and comfortable room. Very comfortable king size bed. The pacific inn blue is dog friendly, really helpful and courteous staff. Water and ice machine always available. They offer hot drinks and cookies definitely excellent! Parking space available for 15$ per day.

My partner and I loved that it’s tucked away and once you walk in very quiet and beautiful. It was one of the cleanest rooms we’ve stayed in. Calvin was very kind and welcoming, he was very accommodating. We will definitely be booking again.

Some of the facilities seem a bit old like the water and ice machines at the front and the locks on the doors seem a little flimsy for a hotel.

The location is perfect! It's walking distance to the beach/boardwalk and downtown, so once we parked the car, we could walk everywhere, which was very convenient. The staff were also very nice and it was an altogether pleasant experience.
