The only issue we had was that the light went out in the kids' room. I sent a message, and nothing ever happened. Also the patio door in the living room did not open.

The location was perfect it was near everything we needed. The condo came with all the essentials needed in the kitchen, washer and dryer and a blow dryer in the bathroom. The property pools were amazing for all ages.

Some outlets didn’t work, place was nice but I little banged up, stains on furniture and chipped paint, lamps didn’t work. Still overall A nice place, we would stay again.

First impressions are everything. Beautiful resort but desk person was less than helpful. Seemed put out to offer info on area upon arrival (11 am with 4pm check in time) Noone offered us the option to change into bathing suits to use the pool and buy lunch at resort restaurant/ bar area, instead they left us sitting in lobby for hours. Putting that aside, after check in we had a good time. Only remark about condo was the floors were horrendously dirty and sticky (my bare feet were black). Also , Nowhere did I read that you need a car here. There are no trollies anymore, or available buses. So RENT a car or Uber every where . Resort has shuttle but it's VERY limited. NO BREAKFAST served ANYWHERE at resort or area close by. NEED car to get breakfast at a restaurant. No beach/pool towels in condo, had to buy ours. (Who travels/Flys with beach towels?) Overall we would recommend/ come back. Knowledge is power and I hope this helps the next guests. Unit 1805 rented through Vacasa. Also when Vacasa says 4pm check in , it's 4 pm NO GIVE A F**** even if unit is ready hour early. Lobby was not that great to sit in for hours with all our stuff.

That being said. The Palms of Destin, Unit 1805 rented through Vacasa. With store next door to buy supplies, you can stay at the resort and want for nothing else. Food and drinks at resort restaurant and bar are very good. Coffee shop is JUST that , does not serve breakfast foods (eggs and meat.). We rented a car on day two to get breakfast and sitesee. Garage parking was on site. Pool is amazing with plenty of chairs and sun/shade as needed. We walked to beach and restaurant for dinner several times. Great food everywhere we went ! We would recommend/ return.

Smoke alarm kept going off every day for no reason, last time being after midnight and woke everyone up. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers were empty and the condo smelled of musty old cigarette smoke (not unbearable though) upon entering. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves. We would stay again despite the few minor inconveniences.

Location was great. Amenities were good. Condo was nice and clean.

The tvs in the kids room didn’t work properly, would probably be better with one tv on the bottom bunk or none at all. We also weren’t provided the cleaning products to complete the tasks that were listed to complete upon check out. We purchased our own bleach and dish detergent. You’re only initially supplied 1 day worth of towels and washcloths which would be fine if the washing powder was supplied as well. It was listed on the refrigerator that it would be supplied and it wasn’t there so a lot of things we had to purchase on our own.

The pictures don’t do this location justice. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. I love the decor and detail of the apartment as well. Working kitchen appliances, and nice water pressure as well. Clean balcony looking over the pool, which the adults enjoyed the most.

Beware that the hotel pictures isn’t what the reality is, several spots, holes, marks throughout property and seen several live roaches crawling and nobody responded until after escalating it several times, quite disgusting and disappointing to say the least to have spent and sacrificed to receive a roach infested room needs to be reported the health department, hallways had horrible stench

Had to get my wife in another state call booking and get on phone with property to release keys and codes for early check-in that I was told was ready and was accepted for early check-in but property didn't know anything about early check-in very upsetting after a 8 hour car ride and need to unload and unwind
