The service in the restaurant, though sufficient, could be better.

The rooms have well appointed and cozy interiors. Very clean and well furnished and supplied. The Nespresso coffee wasn't excellent touch, I haven't seen is much more expensive stays. The staff was helpful and available.

Had to time showers based on when hot water was available between other guests and restaurant washing dishes.

The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great (when there was hot water). Nice setting. Nice big screen TV. Parking right outside the room.

Bathroom definitely needs a fan or vent to let moisture out - it looked like black mold was forming on the upper wall/ceiling area.

Picked this based on proximity to Mt. Rainier National Park. Cute room with a larger fridge than expected. Never interacted with the staff since it was self check-in online to get door codes.

Hard to find staff that speak English or find them at all. Walls are paper thin, you hear EVERYTHING next door, double the fun if you are not in an end unit. Shower was great setup, but mildewed

Cute, minimalist room with everything you need right by national park

    Bed was a bit soft.

We stayed in a king cabin, which was simple but comfortable. Bathroom was well done, and we especially liked the heated floors. Great location near the Paradise entrance of Mt. Rainier. We had breakfast at the cafe onsite, and appreciated the variety in choices, and all the yummy baked goods. We also booked the Cannibal Hot Tub, and really enjoyed that experience. Note: they are doing a lot of work on the grounds and constructing new buildings. None of it bothered us during our stay and there was no problem with noise, but know that some of the grounds are under construction, and the asthetics of the property are affected by that.

The restaurant closing time was 9 pm and when we reached at 8.40 pm the server refused to get us a table saying the kitchen was closed. We had to go hungry that night and it was a major complaint from us.

The room was spacious. So was the bathroom. Loved the coffee and water provisions. The layout of the property was great. Very easy checkin and checkout

When making my booking at this property, I couldn’t get one room for 2 nights because i booked at 2 diff times as we were trying to figure itinerary. When we arrived, we were booked into a large king size room on the road side of the property end at that time we inquired if possible we could stay in one room both nights but they said we would have to move because of the room (king vs 2queens ) situation. However, when we did move towards the quieter back part of the village, the bed there was exactly the same. We would’ve complained and we were tired so we figured what the heck. It would’ve been nice if they could have arranged for us to stay in the same room 2nights consecutively as we were doing a lot of traveling. Also I think they charged me the 2nd night for two queens but gave us a king. It’s only a matter a few bucks, but still their mistake - and making us move because of the king vs queen bed status didn’t make sense - whatever - I didn’t want to waste time trying to get a few bucks back especially when the front office isn’t alway “peopled”

The restaurant with the Ukrainian theme is pretty good with some interesting entrée choices, etc., and the cannibal hot tub is also unusual, but having rented it out twice while there, It is extremely pricey (and I know there is a lot of labor involved to clean the hot tub between uses and to heat up the fire), but still it is expensive.

The sofabed was extremely squeaky such that every time the person on it turned it woke all of us up. The room was small such that with the sofabed open we could barely open the door. We had noisy neighbors and could hear them loudly until midnight, and pillows were pretty flat.

The inn was very charming and well situated and we actually had a great time overall. They gave us breakfast protein boxes which were perfect. We did also order from the cafe and the food was really good. We ate it outside in a little cabana like thing, absorbing the fresh air and beautiful views. They have a fun barrel ferris wheel thing that my son loved and swing benches with pretty rustic woodwork.

DO NOT eat here! We ordered online before 8pm and waited until almost 9:30 for food. While the food was good it was simply pasta and should not take that long.

When we arrived to check in, no one was available to help us for about 20 minutes. Our room was very cold despite the loud heat running constantly yet weirdly humid. It was crowded for a family of 4 so would be better suited for couples or single travelers. We asked twice for toilet paper (we ran out) and an additional towel (so all would have one) and no one brought them. We went to the office and tried to bring it ourselves but they said they would. There was a microwave but the plug would not reach the wall so we had to move it to the floor to operate it. We went to the restaurant after a long day of travel and while it was delicious, the service was poor and it took much longer than one would expect. My primary complaint is the service from the majority of our interactions was very poor and we are not needy or difficult people. Truthfully, I have never left a bad review so I feel bad, but I was frustrated we paid what we did and had the experience we did.

The property was charming and had a magical glow in the morning with the sunshine streaming along the backdrop of the mountains. It reminded me of Bavaria, Germany. Having the bakery and coffee shop on site was nice. We also loved all the flowers and the swing.

The bed was comfortable and cozy. The bungalow aesthetics were rustic and felt like we lived in a in the past, a village in the Ukraine in the early 1900s. The bakery/cafe had delicious breakfast food, and pastries that were delectable. The family earing arrangements encouraged conversations.

Towels need to be cleaned better

Size of the room is large and the bed was very comfortable. The room could have been cleaner- the tv remote was dirty and I had to clean it myself. Also every towel I got still had some stains on it so I couldn’t use them. The staff wasn’t outwardly friendly but they are Ukrainian so this may just be cultural. About 15 min drive to rainier entrance.

We reserved the "cannibal hot tub" but it was way too hot to use. After literally burning my feet I asked if they had a thermometer but no such luck. Fun concept but use at your own risk! The owners clearly have a lot of skills and are constantly building things but nothing ever seemed 100% finished and there was stuff throughout the grounds.

Our room was a cool log cabin with very comfortable beds (2 queens) for the four of us. We had dinner at the restaurant after a late arrival and breakfast in the bakery the next morning. The staff was pleasant - even if there was a language barrier at times. They went above and beyond after we left something important behind.

Poor Anna seemed to be running the entire facility herself... from lobby guest check in to hostess and server for the restaurant, to the barista and cook for the café... her demeanor was very flat and not as welcoming as you would like from someone who handled all guest services! She maybe smiled 2 times in the 3 days we were there! Anyway some help and warm welcoming smiles would have made it near perfect! And better lighting in the rooms!

Food was good, rooms were clean, the "cannibal hot tub" was unique and a cool experience. A herd of elk visited the neighboring meadows daily. Over all a great place to stay for a "base camp" of sorts for your Mt. Rainier activities!
