The bathroom was a bit weird: No towel bars anywhere near the sink and just a tiny shelf next to the sink where you can put your toiletries. The showerhead leaked in three places, spraying water everywhere, but it didn't really matter because water was spraying under the curtain onto the floor, making for a sizable puddle.

Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable.

The staff could have been friendlier. The breakfast was a complete mess,right down to having no forks for both days of our stay . The first day they ran out of forks, orange juice and coffee. Said they were waiting for their truck. The offerings for breakfast that day were cheese omelettes, English muffins and watery oatmeal and waffles. No meats at all. Some old oranges in a bowl. The second day still no forks even though we saw their delivery truck , no orange juice, the same cheese omlettes, waffles , and at least decent oatmeal but they ran out English muffins with no other bread offered. We made best of what they had and wouldn’t have complained except that we were told by the front desk girl that spoons and a knive were sufficient to eat with. The girl that must have been in charge of the dining area never said good morning to anyone in the area. She appeared as if she didn’t want to be there.

The property was clean and attractive . It was priced accordingly.

The pillows aren’t comfortable. No coins available with the reception staff to use at the laundry room.

Location was well suited for us as it was very close to the Syracuse campus. Breakfast was okay , could have had more variety of fruits. Complimentary water bottles in the rooms recommended .

The website says there is a king suite and while most people would think a suite would have a separate living area with a pull out sofa, this suite only have a chair with a chaise. I think they need to make that abundantly clear because we booked the room based on that information. The omelets are not good.

The staff were wonderful. Great friendly people. I loved the decor of the place. Nice steady stream of water in the shower. The doubles and the suite we stayed in was spacious. A/C was pumping throughout the trip.

I had to be up and out early and the breakfast buffet didn't have any meat protein available to the early-bird customers. Bacon or sausage may have come out later on so I won't say "there was no meat."

The carpets were old throughout the hotel. A few updates would make the hotel really nice.

The hotel had lots of character. The beds were comfy. The continental breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large. There was great water pressure in the bathroom. It was a good value for such a cute place!

Rooms are serviced only every three days, unless you make a special request the night before you want it cleaned. Even then, I had to inquire about service being provided the next day. The breakfast offerings were very limited, and the eggs in the warmer were not hot. Oatmeal was delicious, but not served daily. Coffee needs to be refilled during the afternoon and evening in the lobby.

The room was spacious and clean. The laundry facility was also very nice.

The breakfast buffet was okay and very limited. There were not many options available. The area around the hotel did not seem to be the safest and I would not feel comfortable walking around.

It is a historic hotel but with updated rooms. The room we stayed in was sizable (other than the bathroom) and the bed was very comfortable. It was in driving distance to Syracuse University which is what we were looking for.

Breakfast is basic and the window AC units are a little loud but good for white noise if that helps you sleep. It did keep the room very cool during the very hot summer days.

Have stayed several times at this hotel and will again. The rooms are clean and spacious, the large parking lot is a bonus and it’s centrally located which allows you to get to several Syracuse neighborhoods easily. Staff is always nice and it’s decent value for your money.
