I brought my Granddaughters (5 of them) to San Angelo, and 1st place i thought stay was 'the Pearl'. I knew of the amenities, and the 'girls' were excited at the hotel extras.

Run down, needs updating, lots of noise from the atrium/pool area. Had an outside room that had issues so they moved us inside where it was noisy until 11pm when the pool closed.

Location great for walking to historic area with shops. Beds were very comfortable.

The facilities are very old and it shows. Stained carpets, bathroom tub drain was all yuck and rusted. The ‘Exterior’ rooms are wild, with a door like a motel.

They took all the microwaves and and coffee makers out of the rooms. I like to sit and drink a cup of coffee at night with popcorn and watch TV to relax we go there for their wonderful pool. All the game machines was broke. I want to be able to come back, please, and the beds were very hard and old

The building was older which is not a problem except that it lacked upkeep. Our children stayed in an interior room and it was ok. My husband and I stayed in an exterior room because we had our family pet and that room was our only option. I would not stay there again in an exterior room. The chlorine smell inside was so strong my son woke up with swollen eyes. However the other familiers there with younger children seemed to be enjoying the amenities and having a great time. My kids are older and we did not take advantage of all they offered.

The interior rooms were comfortable. However the exterior rooms were not.

They advertised a hot tub in the room. It is not a hot tub or jacuzzi. It was a regular bathtub with a hole in the bottom of the tub by the drain. I booked this room solely for the reason of the tub as my husband was in need of some relaxing water therapy. I confirmed with the front desk clerk that they do not have any rooms with hot tubs or jacuzzis. Very disappointing. There was a note in the room indicating they are going to start renovating so I can understand about the older outdated wears. But the bathtub was a complete misrepresentation.

Very friendly staff. Nice location with a garden park directly across the street.

It’s very dated but cool to walk back into history. It used to be a holidome hotel with a big indoor pool and arcade.

When we arrived we were put up in a room that was still being cleaned so we had to wait and my 84 year old grandma had to walk around from one room to the next.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great! The pool was nice and clean.

The arcade was not fully functional, the pool was chilly and the pool towels really tiny. When I wanted ice there was only one ice machine really far away. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have them in more locations. One bed in our room was comfy and the other was really bouncy. There was nothing wrong with it except it made it difficult to sleep beside someone because every time they moved the whole thing bounced a bit.

The kids loved the pool, the breakfast, and the idea of the other atrium amenities. The room was clean and comfortable for the price, the staff was very friendly and helpful and I saw that they are working on fixing it up more.

The pool was closed which didn’t say anywhere online before booking the room. It was posted at the hotel but not before we booked. The games are outdated or broken.

We’ve stayed many times before. We love to stay for the kids to play and swim. The game machines were either down or took our money. Even the air hockey table we couldn’t enjoy it because it kept getting stuck. Than the pool was closed but we had no idea.
