The front desk staff went out of their way to make sure everything was as it should be. The location was amazing and for a great price which is what I was looking for

They are no longer serving breakfast - offered a 10% discount to a cafe but it only opened at 9 a.m. so not useful to us at all.

Staff can be more friendly. Since there is no housekeeper provided during our stay, the staff should be understanding if we need to toss our trash into the trash can at the parking lot.

The quality of the room is great given its low price compared to other hotels / lodges at Tahoe City. The cleanliness is above my expectation. Ten-minutes drive to Granlibakken Ski Resort, walking distance to Tahoe Lake and lots of fine restaurants! And easy check-in and check out

There is no breakfast service, except coffee in the room. They have minimal staff, and reduced hours of operation. They contacted me by text, and told me what I needed to know to get in and out of the booking easily. The room was very clean and well equipped. Overwhelming smell of bleach cleanser had me open windows right away and keep them open throughout my stay.

Good economical hotel option in Tahoe City.

The underground garage is pretty dingy and damp, with a very low ceiling. I appreciate that there is enough parking onsite, but moving luggage and other items down the cramped stairway and across wet floor isn't great. I understand that the property was built in the 1960s and that renovating the garage wouldn't be cheap, but it was a still a downside.

Location was my main reason for choosing this hotel, which was good. It's also a pretty economical option in the Tahoe area. The bed was comfortable as well.
