How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewI really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the great communication they had. The room was beautiful and was extremely quiet at night. Having the kitchen stocked with plates, pots and pans, and dish washing supplies was a massive plus. The location is hands down the best part of this hotel. So close to Knott's, Disney and even a small drive to the beach. So many great restaurants to eat at nearby too.
The only drawback to this hotel was something minor. They mentioned a complimentary breakfast but it was more like snacks than a breakfast. Some cereal and packaged pastries with coffee is about all they had. Had expected a little more but truth be told the hotel was so fantastic we did not really mind.

Was told early check-in was going to cost 4x more than they told me in writing. Water in the shower did not get warm.

We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our early arrival policy, our policy states that arrivals between 10AM-1PM will include a $25.00 + tax fee, earlier than that the fee would be half a day rate. Verified reviewReally needed/wanted a full kitchen so was glad to find a place with one (at a reasonable price). Pool was good for the kids.
Really should have a room with a few coin operated washer-dryers. Most lodging with kitchens also have laundry facilities. Breakfast is also pretty sparse. Doesn't necessarily need to be a fancy hot buffet, but some fresh juice, bagels, rolls, etc., and a better fruit selection would've been nice.

The location is sketchy. The staff is unprofessional and deliberately antagonized my dogs by knocking on the door every couple of hours even though we had the do not disturb sign on. They charge tons of fees.

While we did receive notice of one pet, our records indicate that a second dog was present but not disclosed at check-in. As part of our pet policy, we kindly ask that pets are never left unattended in guest rooms. Unfortunately, we received reports—and confirmed—that the dogs were barking for an extended period while you were away, which disturbed other guests. All of our fees—including parking and pet fees—are clearly stated at the time of booking and are completely optional based on the services you choose to use. Like most hotels, we also place a standard incidental hold on credit cards, which is a common industry practice. We are sorry again that you were disappointed with our service and we will use your comments to better our hotel.

Verified reviewWhere do I start. I love this place, my go to place for when we hit the near by amusement parks. I never thought I would have anything negative to say about this place. I’m disappointed. I had came to my room noticing no towels and dirty bathtub. When I told the front desk and they came to my room to inspect, they told me I was basically lying and they knew I had towels when I arrived. Also stating the bathtub was that color. It’s not extra to get more towels I think it would be very unnecessary to lie about that when I know I can get more at no cost. Also when I used the shower the tub was clean of the stains. I can overlook those mistakes but I did not like to feel accused of taking some hotel towels. The attitude of the worker was poor. The room was simply not cleaned properly they made a mistake and did not take accountability but rather made me feel bad. It’s hard to say if I’ll stay again after this experience.

Verified reviewOlder but has a lot of charm. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Old style AC unit but it worked. Nice having a vanity outside the toilet area so two people can get ready at once. Place was quiet and close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Kitchenette was very handy.
The TV remote was touchy. Worked at times, then didn’t work. Has to be right up next to the tv to get it to respond.

That they charge for parking we have never pay parking when we stayed at hotels that was a disappointed experience to pay for parking.
