Hours before checkout we got a knock on the door by staff to see if we had checked out. About 45 minutes later we got a second knock on the door to see if we had checked out. And yet a third time a short time later another knock to see if we had checked out. This was between 830-1030 on a Sunday morning. Felt like we were super rushed to get out of the hotel so they could clean. Would have loved to sleep in but was unable due to three unwanted wake up calls.

It's a typical US-ian hotel. AC set to provide you with a feeling of arctic winter regardless of the season, the showerhead attached to the wall.

We didn’t have any hand soap at the sink or body wash for the 1st 2 days (out of 3 nights’ stay). We were located on the 12th St. side, which was extremely loud at night with cars and motorcycles-and we were on the 7th floor. Also, late night partiers coming home woke us up at 2:30 am and 4:30 am. being loud in the halllway. Something to help with noise reduction would be beneficial!!!

Rooms were a little stuffy because there wasn’t much airflow. Also the pillows were a little too soft.

Restaurant and bar, all though we were there on on Xmas Eve and Xmas morning so it wasn’t hoppin , they did give us a great breakfast Xmas morning off the menu, omelette, with other choices ala carte, very pleased with that offering, service was great

Room was only cleaned once during a 4 night stay (although one of these days was Thanksgiving so not sure if that affected things). AC was a bit hit and miss when trying to heat the room.

Excellent location - close to lots of bars and restaurants in the Power & Light district, and close to the free streetcar. Large room with big comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot. Shuffleboard on the mezzanine floor was a nice touch. Art deco style was really cool. Staff were really friendly.

The attached restaurant was subpar for breakfast. They didn't offer toast or anything else with the omelet. The taste of the food was mediocre. We had to ask for butter for the toast that we paid extra for and had to request salt and pepper. However, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

We chose this hotel because it is historic and close to the venue we were attending. It was comfortable and clean.

it's not that i DIDN'T like it.. but i felt like the pictures created more of a warm feel than actually there in person. The rooms were tiny.. which is OK, but normally when you have a super small room, the bathroom is normal size. Bathroom was tiny and the door to the bathroom was really weird and awkward. Property was downtown, which is fine, but we walked about 200 ft from the hotel and got harassed by local men.

I liked the ease of check-in and that there was a restaurant on property. Comfiest pillows i have ever used a hotel and the bed was a solid 7/10.
