Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaBeds were squeaky, the bathroom was quite worn (paint peeling off the wall, mold between the tiles in the bathroom), views were of a parking garage.
Beautiful building, incredibly helpful staff and walking distance to the river.

United States of AmericaAlthough restaurants were a short walk away, I think breakfast should have been included for the price we paid. Apparently, that was the case in the past. We also had a shower faucet crack and break as well as elevator out of service. Each issue was addressed promptly and thoroughly.
Location was awesome. Room was inviting and cozy. Staff were very friendly and helpful with local activities.

United States of AmericaLocation and the staff were great. It was comfortable and an historic building and area. The only thing I could suggest is that the carpeting was on the edge of needing an update.

United States of AmericaPlanters Inn was in a convenient location with a parking garage available right across the street. We had no problem walking wherever we wanted within the historic district. Also, since it was on Reynolds Square the streets weren't as busy as some other areas. Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

United States of AmericaThe room was satisfactory, not quite clean but nothing worth asking them to fix. It took quite a while to checkin and get the car taken care of.
it was a good location, walking distance to the places we wanted to go. The valet service was fast, efficient, and friendly.

United States of AmericaThe hallways had a very strong food smell but once I got into the room, it smelled very clean. The carpet is a little outdated but clean.
The location was perfect for walking to all major attractions. Right next to the famous Pink House and nearby many delicious restaurants and nightlife. Self parking was convenient in the parking garage next door to save a few dollars or there was a valet if you'd prefer.

PhilippinesThe toilet flushes loudly like it is sucking up the whole building. Almost embarrassing to flush at night and early morning. The beds were also too high for a short person like me (5 feet 1 inch).
I love this place. I didn't feel anything supernatural, thank goodness. The lobby had old-time charm. The receptionist was very welcoming and let me check in super early. The room was huge. The twin beds were comfy. There were coffee-making sets, an ironing board, hair dryer in the room. The bathroom had a bathtub and plenty of hot water. The toiletries were Gilbert and Soames. The hotel was close to several interesting areas and within walking distance of a lot of meetups for the group tours. There is also an excellent breakfast place a few meters from the hotel which is highly recommended - Quinn's.

United States of AmericaThe bed frame was very noisy. The room fan was loud and scratchy on high speed. The ceiling paint in the shower was peeling and curling and the shower curtain rod was loose and wobbly. Our room view looked right into a parking structure, not what I had envisioned for a historic Savannah hotel on a green. Parking is $28/day to park it yourself in said parking structure, or $34.95 for valet parking.. they used to include breakfast but now suggest going to a nearby diner Quinns. There are too many other choices. I would not stay here again.
Location! The facility is clean, but it was missing several things to make it worth the cost.
