Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNothing! Only feedback would be to either not put the cadet teddy bears in the room with children or lower the price. Our little guy was instantly attached but $69.95 is way too high for the quality. Just food for thought…
Great location and super clean. Rooms are gorgeous and bathrooms are super spacious. We’ve stayed in many CO Springs hotels/resorts and this one is the best location we’ve had other than Broadmoor/Garden of Gods (which are triple the price). Highly recommend.

United StatesI love a good bath, and the bathroom had a shower only (it was very nice, and I know the trend is away from tubs, but I like them).
The hotel is located right at the entry gates of the Air Force Academy, so perfect, if you are visiting there. The entire facility is beautiful - clean, cool vibe with a mid-century modern aesthetic. Unfortunately, we were only there for a quick overnight stay, but our room was very comfortable. Very nice sheets, towels, robes, mattress, etc. Gleaming bathroom with Kohler fixtures and lovely toiletries. I wish we had had more time to explore the pool, gym, flight simulator, etc. Would stay there again!

United StatesThe entrance can be tricky if there’s a line to get onto base at USAFA. A separate entrance would be very smart.
So clean, very well run. Great coffee in room, lots of amenities. Great bathroom.

United StatesWe were given a room facing the interstate rather than the mountains. Hotel wasn't busy so not sure why they did that. We had drinks at the main bar however the single bartender was overwhelmed and some people had to wait extended lengths of time to get served. We ate in the main dining room and the food was good but overpriced.
This was our first stay at the Polaris and we will definitely come back. The location is superb, with easy access off the interstate and fantastic views of the Rampart Range to the west and Pikes Peak to the south. The outside recreational area on the west side of the hotel is fantastic, with something for the entire family. There are several options for food and drinks. Our room was very nice and fully equipped and had a great shower. The entire staff was over the top.

United StatesWe are in the bar our first night with the kids food was ok, but not worth the $138 bill. There are so many great restaurants around the hotel, it would be cheaper to leave the property.
Brand new property! Rooms are beautiful and the Mountain View is amazing!

United StatesThe location is a bit far from a lot of the main Colorado Springs "spots" like Pike's Peak, Manitou, or downtown. But was only a 20-30 minute drive to most of it.
Super new nice building with good restaurant options and beautiful views. We really liked each of the food places we went to between the full service restaurant, the upstairs bar, and casual hot dog/milk shake place. The patio area with tons of places to sit and relax was real nice. The room was comfy with a nice couch, good view, and good selection amenities with a nice couch and big window. The Air Force stuff was a bit heavy handed, but also pretty ignoreable beyond the decor, so even if you aren't there for anything associated with the academy it was totally fine. Really appreciated the free parking!

United StatesThere was nothing that I didn't like about Polaris Hotel.
This hotel is the one others should strive to emulate. The facility albeit new, is nevertheless spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff is kind, welcoming, and polite. They appear to have been very well trained. We had dinner downstairs and the food was fantastic. Afterward we went to the rooftop bar for a nightcap. It was a slow evening and we were the only ones there late, but we received friendly service from smiling staff. I will be staying here again whenever I am in the area.
