Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The floors and walls are quite thin so the hotel can be very noisy.
Very cute and ancient Spanish looking hotel, totally different from the big hotels in Miami. Very clean and simple, perfect for a quick stay. Located close to the myracle mile, easy to access by car or also you can take the trolley to go around coral Gables. Perfect value for money.

There's a Target supermarket nearby, taking the public transport is convenient. There's microwave and fridge in the room.

Small friendly hotel. They accommodated our early arrival and stored our luggage at no charge. The room was very comfortable with a large fridge freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was spotless. Lastly the decor from the art deco front door, seating and historic photos of Coral Gables were to be appreciated. And the Coral Gables trolley stops outside. Highly recommended.

There was a noisy machine operating on the 3rd floor close to the back of building that we could hear from inside our room in the middle of the hallway. It was pretty loud but I was glad we weren’t in a room right by it.
Free parking available on side streets very close. GREAT location! Safe., welcoming staff.

No elevator had to leave the large suitcase with attendant because it was too heavy for me to carry up to room.
It was walking distance to different restaurants. There was a Target across the street. The room was clean. It is an older building so there is no elevator.

Hotel is far away to Miami Downtown and Miami Beach.

Although room was very clean it was a bit shabby. In the am I found a large brown bug on the bathroom floor. Don’t know the type but it wasn’t a pleasant surprise. When I told the receptionist she just shrugged her shoulder.
Location was great and very convenient. Felt like A small European hotel. No elevator but staff assisted in carrying my luggage upstairs. No hotel parking but there was street parking around the block. Staff was helpful and answered all questions.

I am allergic to mold, and that's all I can smell .. I can smell it because I am allergic to it it burns my throat and skin .. It's not visible at all.. like I said, it's so beautiful.. so beautiful.. I am just very sensitive to mold is all .. Normal people may not realize it.. But I am only here for a couple of hours... Did I not say this place is charming... God, you can film a movie here.. I travel a lot and this is the most cozy place .. I am expecting my Italian grandmother to appear any min lol After riding on the amtrax for 2 days, I l99k rough and weird. lol, I would be scared of it too, lol I won't get much sleep ... but I will catch up at my villa tomorrow
This place is absolutely beautiful.. It's absolutely charming very old... I was worried because I had to come a day earlier so I needed a place just for one day.. I was worried it was going to be a bad place .. It's absolutely charming smells like a little old grandma house.. just gorgeous.. gorgeous, and the person at the front desk was patient and understanding at this grumpy no sleeping for 2 days me ..lol So clean... like a museum

The room was incredibly tiny. It was almost claustrophobic tiny. Also, there were a lot of things plugged in across the room and overloaded outlets.
Price point was good. The neighborhood was safe and had lots of great restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly.

The shower head and water pressure. I wish there was a traditional shower head instead of the one they opted for. There were some tiny lil bugs. I’m sure native to Miami but they tended to get all over our utensils when we ate in the room. There is no ice machine available
Location is convenient and close to the freeways. The room was cozy and cute. Very clean and well maintained property.
