Cleanliness. Our room was in one of the long buildings past the main one, so it was more quiet. So easy to get into town.

The front porch lights are on all night and the shades do not block the incoming light. Room stays lit up all night.

Good locations. Short drive or long walk to town.

Some minor signs of age in the rooms around the ceiling, but nothing serious.

Convenient location - walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, which was great. Didn’t have to try to find parking near restaurants and shops. Loved that there were free snack bars, pastries and beverages in the lobby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and updated. Chairs on the porch outside our room were nice for sitting outside.

I hated it when I found out that I was on the far end on the private property side in a hotel room that was a bit of a distance from my parking spot and then having to hike up an incline to a set of stairs logging all my stuff. I had to make several trips and I don't have the best knees. I would've liked to have known this ahead of time I was hoping that I was going to have a room on a level ground that I could park in front. I also didn't like the fact that there's no little single at least coffee pot in the room especially for the rooms you have that are so far away from the main office. I had to get in my car to drive over to get my coffee and back. I just really feel like people that are far away from the main office should have coffee pots in their room. I hated the fact that there were no creamers and it was just that crappy coffee mate. I paid $400 for one night for my room and I can't even get good cream for my coffee. That's just cheap!

It was nice and it was very clean and I appreciate that the beds were comfortable. Heat worked well

2nd floor rooms are accessible from the back of the building, the back area could use a bit of work, but I'm being picky.

Location of this hotel is key! Walking distance to most of Bar Harbor and very close to Arcada. Being able to park the car and not fight parking was great. Staff were all very friendly.

Considering the price, it is important to remember that this is a motel. The room was basic, yet clean. Although the air conditioning was quite noisy, opening the window allowed for a peaceful night's sleep.

The motel's location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to both Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, with Main Street just a short walk away. The staff was welcoming, polite, and always ready to assist. Furthermore, the all-day hospitality station, providing coffee, snack bars, fresh fruit, and cold beverages, was a delightful addition.

The corner shower in the bathroom was pretty tiny. Breakfast spread was basic with muffins and coffee. The water and juices in the fridge and the fountain to refill water bottles weren't cold.

Great location and very walkable to downtown. We stayed in "the pines" area of the motel which was quieter and nice. While our room was very basic it did have everything we needed in terms of King size bed and mini fridge.

Two tiny tables in lobby for eating breakfast. We were in room farthest from lobby - not easy getting hot coffee and cereal to room. No hangars in room. Pricey rooms - similar hotels for same price closer to town.

Comfortable beds! Snack bars and water bottles in lobby. Decent breakfast - cereal and muffins and pastries. Good coffee! Easy walk to town and the Village Green for shuttle into park.

The floor was tidy but not clean, the walls and ceiling (1st floor)/floor (2nd) are so thin you c an hear the people, above simply walking around. This is a bigger deal when our above neighbor guests left at 4:30am.

Good location easy walk to the main part of town without being in the middle of the traffic and crowds. The grab breakfast was limited but not bad. Since there is not a lot of seating and the motel calls it a grab and go breakfast it would be nice if they had bags (perhaps they do I could not find them.

It was very damp. Very basic. Nothing special If the price wasn't so high I might have rated it higher but it wasn't worth what we paid for it. I've stayed at 5 star Hiltons all over and they were never $335 a night.

Terribly overpriced for the room which was pretty basic. Close to downtown. Next time I will look outside of booking com which only had this room available in Bar Harbor. With the dog it cost 335 a night. There were other nicer hotels for about 170. We felt ripped off but had no choice after booking it. Good location less than half mile walk to downtown.Very basic Continental Breakfast was weak. I would not stay here again. There are much nicer hotels at almost half the cost.
