Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe price was right, though I wasn’t expecting it to be picture perfect, I’m Ok with bare bones with a little character, sadly this room was super dirty and could use some basic maintenance that would take very little time and effort. There were belongings from a previous guest in the dresser drawers, food left in the refrigerator, torn up carpets and the ceiling was very stained and looked like it could crumble at any moment. Cherry on top of the cake was stepping on a chunk of glass. Really wanted to like my stay a bit more.

United States of AmericaI can’t say anything bad.
It’s a hotel that was built a long time ago. I needed a place to stay for the night. For the low price it was worth it. A lot of low priced hotels are in bad areas. This hotel was in a safe area. Plus unlike other hotels at this price. It was clean and did not smell.

United States of AmericaBurn holes in bedding was definitely a negative. The smell of stale smoke and unsanitary condition of the entire room was also a negative.
The price and location of the place was decent for my needs. Outside access directly to the room was convenient for bringing in/out luggage.

United States of AmericaThis motel provided stained linens. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. A/C unit not working and filters plugged solid. Charged $50.deposit for room that has major issues, deposit not disclosed before reserving room.
Unfortunately this hotel stay was frought with unsanitary conditions and several issues of major inconvenience and unsound business practices. Other than cheap laundry machines there is no more appreciated about this location.

United States of AmericaI didn't like the room so much. The furniture is old, with torn fabric, cigarette burns, peeling finish, broken legs. The bed was comfortable but the bedding has the same rips and burns. The rooms and their furnishings are old, worn out, ugly and depressing. I arrived at 5:30 pm but was told it would be 45 minutes until my room would be ready. It took about an hour before I got the key.
I liked the close proximity to downtown and how convenient it was to hop on the Max light rail. The TV, microwave and fridge were in working order. The price was okay but just a few dollars less than a motel 6 or comfort inn.

United States of AmericaThe room is long overdue for a renovation. The shower / tub was actually missing some fixtures and/or coverings. The walls were scuffed and stained and in need of a paint job. The carpeting was stained/dirty and appeared to have been wet at some point in the past. The desk / tables were old, dirty, and rickety. I saw only one tiny roach like bug, which is actually pretty good.
There was no breakfast to be had. The location was decent, right on the main strip where the transit system's train passed by. Although the sheets appeared to be stained with makeup, the bed was extremely comfortable. I also inspected the bed: mattress, box spring, and headboard and found no sign of bedbugs 👍.

AustriaVery strong bad smell (I suspect the old carpet holds that smell pretty well). I can tolerate that pretty well but I could see many people not being able to deal with that at all.
Good location, still somewhat affordable in a city where decent hotels seem to start at 100. The guy at the front desk was nice.

United States of AmericaThe rooms were very rundown. holes in the walls and ceiling were stuffed with toilet paper and one of the ceiling tiles was coming down. The bathroom walls had mold and mildew stains.
The location was great and in a nice neighborhood—lots of parks, restaurants, coffee shops and more were well within walking distance. The room was spacious and quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. The bed was quite comfortable as well. staff was very nice and attentive but hard to find in the morning.
